Just another card to share today as part of my 12 (Christmas cards) in 12 (days) challenge with Ashley. We took a little break yesterday due to craziness on both of our ends, but we are back today.
Meet today’s card.
Once again, I went the “Stashbusters” route, pulling out some goods I picked up a long, long time ago. Yes, for real. Glittery foam bulb stickers. I am not really sure what I was thinking at the time, but… hey… they made for a nice card. 😉
I sauced the bulbs just a tad by hanging them from Twinery twine and then adding some colorful bows to them. Pretty simple really. 🙂
Alright so that’s really all I have today. Be sure to swing by Ashley’s blog to see what she made to share with you.
Woot! Time for another challenge with the Go-to Gals!
Before we get started, you might want to know what the deal is with these challenges? Well, well, well. It’s just a “for fun” thing. We pick a manufacturer’s products to use and then challenge each other to make something. Sometimes, we’ll all play. And sometimes only a few of us will. And that’s OK because it’s all about having fun… and doing something editor free! (<—- Ha, I KID! Ok, maybe. Maybe not. Hmmm.)
So, yeah, there you go. We’ve decided this time to challenge each other to make something with twine from The Twinery.
So how about a project? 😉
I decided to make some twine tiles of sorts for my card! I started with white chipboard tiles, cut them into one and two inch lengths and then wrapped a rainbow-worthy assortment of twine around each of them.
I think this is probably one of my favorite ways to use The Twinery’s twine. I’ve done this tile thing quite a bit! Takes a little bit of patience, but the results are awfully cool!
I finished my card off with a sentiment from Avery Elle’s Handwritten Notes stamp set. Again, a fan I am. And I thought the fonts just kinda fit with fun feel of the twine!
Can’t wait to see what the rest of the Go-to Gals have cooked up! Be sure to check out the blogs of:
Thanks for stopping by today! Be back tomorrow.
Meet today’s card.
This one uses another new stamp set from the (to-be-debuted Tuesday) Valentine’s Day release from Technique Tuesday.
The set is called Pucker Up. It has a whole bunch of little Valentine’s decorations and matching words (phone, lips, conversation bubbles, etc.). You can see more peeks of these set from Laura and Ashley , who shared a couple totally cute (like totally) projects they’ve made with it. Nice job, guys!
By the way, the polka dots on my card are from TT’s Passion for Polka set. Definitely one of my Go-to stamp sets. The twine is from The Twinery.
‘Tis all for now. Be back in a flash.
