Today’s card(12-30)

Hi y’all!

Been having fun stamping lately so today’s card is a stamped one.

poppyremember_teri

All the images are from Technique Tuesday.

The lines are from one of Ali Edward’s sets. They belong to a stamp that is meant for journaling, but I think it also makes a nice background stamp, too. The circle and word are from one of Ali’s other sets.

The flowers are from the My Little Poppy Shoppe set. Such a pretty set.

Before I go, since I know there are some rubber stamp fans out there, I want to steer you to my pals over at Art Declassified. There’s still a monster sale going on with stamps for 50 percent off.

The sale only goes on though the end of the year.

No. No. No. Art Declassified is not going out of business. They are just clearing room for the new stamps that will be released at CHA. (And… let me just be a tease for a minute and say those new ones are amazing. Just wait, friends. They are “holy-stinkin’-wow” worthy. )

That’s all for now.

Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back later.

Today’s card (12-23)

Meet today’s card.

travelsafe_teri

Not a whole lot to say about it.

The papers are from Crate Paper and Heidi Swapp.

The stamps are from Kim Hughes. They are part of her cheery collection of rubber stamps over at Cornish Heritage Farms.

The ticket was leftover from a raffle. I just flipped the ticket over, stamped on it and punched the holes so I could slide the jute through it. Easy peasy.

Anyway, that’s it for now. I’ll be back later.

Sending happy and safe travels to all friends on the road over the next couple days. And warm thoughts go out to those suffering through extreme Winter temperatures!

Today’s card and bonus card (12-20)

Another day.  Another pattern-tastic card. 😉

hipatchworkpocket_teri

The little cream part pulls out.

The papers here are again all leftovers from a project I worked on last week. The letters are from Making Memories.

And, here’s a bonus card for today. sosweetapples_teri1

Mmmmm, stamps.

Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back later.

Frugal Friday (12-19)

“It’s Fruuuuu-gal Fri-day.”

The Swedish Chef voice has returned. 🙂

And today’s trick is really just a cheapskate tip to raid your recycling for paper scraps. I did and found some cool shaped paper shred.

Here’s a sample of the shred I’m talking about.

papershred_teri

And here’s a card I made with it.

papershredshi_teri

Who knew paper shred would make a great flower?

My grandmother has  a paper shredder that cuts paper in this way. I am now thinking I might have to pass on some of my old, old patterned papers to shred so I can use them in this way.

That’s it for today. I’ll be back later.

Today’s card (12-18)

It’s fast.

It’s pattern-tastic.

And it is today’s card.

favoritefriendpatchwork_teri

Every ounce of paper on this card is a scrap from a project from I worked on last week.

Even the card base is scrap. Hee hee, I present to you the backside of this little card.

 favoritefriendpatchworkbackside_teri1

And there’s a lot more text hidden underneath the patterned paper. 😉

The patterned papers are from Kaiser Craft, October Afternoon and Making Memories. The font is CK Gutenberg, which is an oldie but goodie I rediscovered the other day.

That’s it for now.

I’ll be back later. Window permitting.

Today’s projects (12-17)

Snow. Wind. And one  leaky window over the craft table.

Ugh.

Needless to say, DIY Wednesday will have to come later in the week.

So instead, I’ll just share a projects I’ve not posted here before.

I made this one about 6 months ago. It uses some of those clear dollar stamps that everyone seems to have anymore.

mommy2be1

This is one I can’t recall if I’ve shared.

smile_pinkgreen_teri

All the pink stuff is by Heidi Swapp. The ribbon is from Bo-Bunny. I think it ranks in “the favorite ribbon” category for me.

And, finally, this little dry-erase tile was inspired by a post over on Splitcoast a couple months back.

I am a big fan of using picture frames to make dry-erase boards and have done quite a few of those over the last year. But … this… I really this idea will have to try it again.

dryerasetile

The image is a stamp from Art Declassified. I sealed the image (after I baked it) with Glossy Accents from Ranger.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope to be back tomorrow.

Today’s card (12-16)

Meet today’s card.

thankspacard_teri

I made it a bit back. It’s based on one of Wendy J’s sketches for Paper Crafts.

The patterned papers are from SEI. The letters are from Heidi Swapp. The thanks is a stamp. At the moment, the manufacturer’s name escapes me.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll be back later. 🙂

Today’s card and bonus project (12-14)

The weather outside is frightful so it’s a good time to stay home and make cards and other fun stuff.

Meet today’s ditty.

peaceonearthbulkcard1_teri

These here are actually some quick bulk cards I slammed out today.  Real simple, basic design. To change things up a bit, I moved the green strip of cardstock on some of the cards to the top. Real clever, eh? 😉

The images are all from Technique Tuesday. They are from a couple new sets by Ali Edwards.

And here’s a bonus project to share today.

perfectusframe_teri

This is a little frame I made awhile back.

I just love altering frames. They make such a good gift.

If you know me at all, you might recognize the kids. 😉 You should see them in their snowgear. Someday I will have to share pics. It makes me giggle.

Anyway, that is all I have for now.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Hope you are having a great day.

Today’s card (12-10)

I present to you today’s card in it’s fuzzy, cruddy glory.

christmasbulbs_teri

The images are all stamps from Technique Tuesday.

They aren’t fuzzy. Really.

Blame it on the picture taker. Yes, the picture taker who … cough… cough…. took 22 pictures of this little card. All of which present the card in a glorious, fuzzy way.  😉

Be back later.

Thanks for stopping by today.
