I made this bad boy with the new Lights die, as well as the new Noteworthy stamp set.

To create the little ledge to place the light on, I plopped a couple sticky notes on the white card panel and sponged on some blue ink.

The sentiment was created with two stamps from the Noteworthy stamp set.  Easy peasy.

Alright! That’s what I have for you today. Thanks for stopping by, guys! Always enjoy reading your comments!

Birthday Card Challenge #1

Hi guys!

Back again with a card. My friend, Ashley, posed a challenge to make birthday cards so the two of us will be sharing birthday cards on Wednesday for awhile. 🙂

I went kinda freestyle today with this bad boy by combining some different stuff.

Used some graph style patterned paper from My Mind’s Eye, plus some sticky notes from Kelly Purkey and Hero Arts, to make the background.

The donut themed stamps (words and donuts… because they make everything better, you know) are also from Kelly Purkey. I think this is a set she sold in her store. I picked it up at a workshop she held here quite awhile back… a super fun workshop that is. (Thanks, Kelly!)

The “happy birthday” and “celebrate” words are from the Wish Big set by Julie Ebersole for Ellen Hutson. Fun to combine them with the other stuff. 🙂

Alrighty. That’s what I have. Be sure to swing by Ashley’s blog-a-roo to see her take on the challenge. I’m sure it won’t disappoint. And be sure to stop by again next Wednesday for another birthday card.
