Today’s card (1-23)

Hi guys!

Another day. Another card to share.

A handmade card by Teri // terisplace.wordpress.com

Made this guy while I still had supplies out from my last challenge with Ashley.

You just can’t go wrong with dogs! The cute dogs, dog stuff and dog words are from a dog stamp and die set by Mama Elephant and produced by Hampton Art. The set is based on Mama Elephant’s Playful Pups set. (It’s the cutest!)DogYappyBirthdayCard-teri

I was feeling adventurous when I colored in the dogs so I gave one of the dogs some spots. They might be a little too perfect to be realistic but, you know what they say, anything is possible in card land. Wink, wink!

The friend word is from a stamp set from Paper Smooches, while the hearts were cut with some dies from Lawn Fawn.

All the patterned papers are just random pieces from my box of scraps.

Alright! That’s it for me today. I’ll be back again later, friends. Thanks, as always, for stopping by.

Today’s Card (1-19)

Hi guys!

I’m back with another card to share with you!

Meet today’s card.

A stamped card by Teri // terisplace.wordpress.com

Created this guy with the new Breakfast Puns stamp set. My friend, Mendi, just released it along with a bunch of other new products for Sunny Studio Stamps. She was so kind to hook me with up  a few of her new products early for my birthday last month. (Thank you, Mendi!)

I couldn’t resist making a quick card with this little coffee cup. Happy face + coffee  = can’t go wrong in my world.

Cut the banners and rectangle with a couple dies from My Favorite Things. And the patterned papers are just from my scrap box. Really trying to use my scraps, rather than hoard them, get frustrated to have so many and then recycle them so I can start fresh…. wink.  Can you relate?

Added a few extra dots to the card with some red enamel dots (from Simple Stories) and my trusty bottle of white Nuvo Crystal Drops. Those white dots are kinda of light, but they are there. You are going to have to trust me!

Alright! That’s it for today. I’ll be back again later, gators! Thanks, as always, for stopping by!

Dog Stamp Challenge!

Hi guys!

My pal, Ashley, and I are at it again, challenging each other to make cards.

Both of us recently picked up the cute dog stamp and die set by Mama Elephant and produced by Hampton Art. The set is based on Mama Elephant’s Playful Pups set. (Love it!) Anyway, we challenged each other to make something with the set!

So here’s what I came up with.

DogFriendMissYouCard-Teri

The images and all the words (other than friend) are from the set. I just love that little dog. The friend word is from a sentiment stamp set from Paper Smooches. I just like the combination the phrase and word together. Plus, I’m going to send this card to a friend. 🙂

I also added a few hearts, which were cut with some hearts dies from Lawn Fawn.  I just love adding hearts (and stars) to my little stamped scenes. I think they just make things cuter.

I also added a few dots to my card. I made them with white and black Nuvo Crystal Drops.  Love those things.

Alright! That’s what I have.

Be sure to swing by Ashley’s blog to see her take on the challenge. See you again soon!

Today’s card (1-16)

Hi guys!

Back again. Got another card to share with you.

A stamped card by Teri // terisplace.wordpress.com

Put this one together last week. Was going through some stamps I hadn’t used in awhile.

Challenged myself to make something with some of them. This one uses images from the super sweet Storybook set from Avery Elle, plus the coordinating dies. The words are also from Avery Elle, although I cannot remember which set I pulled them from off the top of my head as I write this post. That’s me, guys. Keeping it real as I blog.

I just had fun coloring the images here with markers. Add a little extra detail the deer with a white pen. A few dots go a long way.

All the patterned papers in the background are a little box of scraps I keep near my desk. 🙂 Always fun to just take scraps and make a little design with them.

That’s all I have for now. I’ll be back again later, friends.

Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card (1-15)

Hi friends!

Here yet again on the old blog-a-roo. Sharing a card I put together last week that I just plain had fun putting together.

A stamped card by Teri // terisplace.wordpress.com

Made this guy with a couple new Technique Tuesday products: the Cascading Hearts border die and the Simply You 2.0 stamps. I also used their Retro Labels dies (from their Fresh Cut Studio collection of dies).

So how did I do the hearts? Well, I cut a card base from white cardstock. I folded it in half, opened it up and then placed the heart die right onto it. I ran it through my Big Shot machine and ended up with that cool heart border.

The border was cool, but it needed more so I added some strips of patterned paper to the inside of the card. I also added a few a sequin and a few drops of white Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I think it turned out pretty nice!

Alrighty, friends! That’s all I got! I’ll be back later, gators.

Thanks for swinging by.

Today’s card

Hi guys!

Been a few days since I have been here. Got a card to share with you.

Made this guy the other day just for fun.

Hug-You-Cactus-Card-Teri-A-Technique-Tuesday

The cacti and words were stamped with the new A Little Prickly stamp set from Technique Tuesday. I also used the coordinating dies.

Got a bit fancy with my markers by adding a little shading and some dots (for extra detail) to both cactus plants. The dots are such a fun way to make an image pop.

The patterned papers came from an old Studio Calico pad of paper from a kit from a long time ago. Not sure who designed them.

I added a few other little touches to this card: a couple dots near the sentiment (made with Nuvo Crystal Dots) and a few stitches (made with my trusty needle and spool of floss… wink.).

Alright! That’s all I got. Be back later.

Thanks, as always, for stopping on by. You guys rock’eth.
