I did a little bit of paper piecing and whole lotta of stamping for this bad boy.

All the farm creatures (farmer included) and words are from the new Green Acres set. The conversation bubble is from Paper Smooches’ He Said, She Said set, and the polkies are from Geo-Graphic.

That’s all for now. Be back later.

Lawn Fawn: Critters Down Under

(Note: In the hunt for my The Twinery + Epiphany Crafts Blog Hop post? Click here…. or just head to the post below this one.)

Hello again all!

Another day. And one more Lawn Fawn card.

The challenge today? To make something with the brand new and coming out very soon Critters Down Under set.

So meet today’s card.

Lawn Fawn’s critters sets are just the cutest and the new one is no exception. Everything stamped here is from the new set.

Rather than torture you (wink) with some of my “not-so-hot but I try” coloring, I stamped most of the images on cardstock, fussy cut them and then paper pieced them together.

Head to the Lawn Fawn blog to see more ideas for the new stamp set. Word on the street is once again they are giving away one of the new stamp sets. Those Fawny folks. 😉 🙂

See you again soon!

The Twinery + Epiphany Crafts

Hello again, friends!

It’s a nice day for a blog hop!

I’m joining the folks from The Twinery and Epiphany Crafts for fun challenge to make and share something today that pairs together products from both companies.

So meet my take on the challenge, which just happens to also be today’s card!

I used Epiphany’s Pennant Shape Studio Tool , along with some of their Epoxy pennant shapes, to make make the banner with patterned papers. I decorated it up with Maraschino and Blossom twine from The Twinery.

I also used a little twine at the bottom of the card, too.

Be sure to check the blogs of all of today’s hoppers:

Be sure to comment as you go, too.

The Twinery and Epiphany Crafts will select one lucky someone who comments during the hop to win a cool combined prize package (valued at over $65) from both companies.

The deadline to comment is 11:59 EST, Sunday, June 3rd. The winner will be announced on June 4th.

That’s all for now. Happy blog hopping!

See you again soon.

Lawn Fawn: Make Lemonade

Hello again, friends!

I’ve got one more Lawn Fawn card for you today.

So meet today’s card.

It just happens to use the new Make Lemonade stamp set, which the rest of the Fawny girls are using today, too.

I made my own sentiment mixing word stamps together from Make Lemonade, Sophie’s Sentiments and Love ‘n Breakfast.

Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn blog again today to see even  more projects with the Make Lemonade set. Word on the street is yet again that there is a set for grabs over there.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Lawn Fawn: Dad’s Day

Hi all!

Another day of Lawn Fawn fun here. Woo to the hoo. 🙂

So meet today’s card, which happens to use the new Dad’s Day stamp set.

The tie and words are from the new set.

I paired it with images from Critters in the Sea and Hats Off to You. Kinda fun!

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see more projects that use the new set. And leave a comment over there so you have a shot at winning a set.

See you again soon!

Lawn Fawn: Sunny Skies

Hi all!

Today kicks off a couple days of Lawn Fawn fun on the old blog-a-roo.

Today, the gang’s playing with the new Sunny Skies set.

So meet today’s card.

The clouds, kite and happy face are all from the new set.

The words are from Sophie’s Sentiments (a set I have a serious habit of cracking into a lot lately).

Head to the Lawn Fawn blog for more projects with Sunny Skies. Oh yeah, and be sure to comment over there because word on the street is Kelly’s giving a set away. (Woohoo!)

See you again soon!

Operation Write Home: Memorial Day Sketch Blog hop

Hi all!

I’m joining in the fun with the Operation Write Home folks today for their Memorial Day Blog Hop.

They are asking folks this year to make a card using one of their more than 100 card sketches.

I drew inspiration from sketch #121.

The turtle and hat are from the Party Posse set by Paper Smooches. The “hello” is from Chit Chat, also from Paper Smooches. The papers from Jillibean Soup, Echo Park Paper and Pink Paislee.

That’s all for now. Be back later.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (5-25)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

This is another one made with May’s Greenhouse Society stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

Did a little resisting again with the stamp set.

This time, I  heat embossed the dandelion with white embossing powder. Then I set it aside and smeared Distress Inks on a craft mat. I spritzed the inks with water and then set the dandelion panel right into the ink. I lifted the panel up, patted it dry and ended up with the nice watercolor’ish look.

Have to admit that it sounds like a harder technique than it really was. Harder makes it sound more impressive, right? 😉  (Hee!)

Be back again soon! Thanks for making my blog part of your day.

The Twinery meets Skipping Stones Design Blog Hop

Hi all!

It’s a day of fun here with the gang from The Twinery and Skipping Stones Design.

The two companies are teaming up for a two-day blog hop and challenging their crafty gals to make something with both company’s products.

So yep. 😉 I’m joining in today’s hop. (You should have arrived here from Wendy’s blog.)

So meet today’s card and my project for the hop.

I used created the stamped panel with the Grunge 2 stamp set from Skipping Stones Design. Before I adhered the panel with foam tape, I wrapped some Mandarin twine from the Twinery right around the panel and smack dab in the middle of the Zig Zags. Just a fun little touch.

Your next stop of the hop is the blog of the fantastic Pamela Young.

Take it away, Pamela!

Oh. And quick note before I let you go:  be sure to comment throughout the hop!

The Twinery is giving away a Colorful Bunch Sampler Pack (value $20) to someone who comments on each stop during the hop.

(Ohhhhh…. awww…. twine.)

The deadline for leaving comments is 11:59 p.m. EST on May 25th. The winner will be announced on the blog for The Twinery on Sunday, May 27th.

Good luck, and thanks for stopping by!

See you again soon!

Today’s cards (5-21)

Hi all!

I have a couple quick, scrap happy, birthday cards to share with you today.

Here’s No. 1.

And here’s No. 2.

Seems like I never have them when I need them so I whipped up these the other day to have them on file.

Both use the Happy Birthday Seal (the circle and stars are part of it) from Technique Tuesday’s Birthday Seal new Signed, Sealed and Delivered collection of stamps.

This is just one of the 12 stamp sets in the collection. I think it’s a nice little collection of circle stamps to build up your stamp collection with. Each set costs $2.99.

In addition to the stamps, I used some twine from The Twinery on both, tape from Bella Blvd. and EK Success and a whole bunch of scrap papers from ever-growing pile of scraps on my desk.

Anyway, that’s all for now. Be back later.

See you again soon!
