Meet today’s card.

Just having some fun here with the new Frame 5 die (as well as the new Precious Mom stamp set and Cute Cluster die). Yes. I totally went wild with the new stuff. 😉

I cut a couple of the flower clusters from white cardstock. Figured out where I wanted to put them. Sponged ink onto the card in circles and then plopped the flowers on top. I added a little gold thread and then set the frame (cut twice… from white and black cardstock…so I had an inside and outside) on top. I stamped the word right into the middle.

And then … just for fun… I added some brads and enamel dots. Those little touches just kinda make things a little more fun, I think, when it comes to cards. You agree?

Today’s card

Hi guys!

Lots going on out here lately. Not a lot of time to share projects with you.

But got a card to share with you today. 🙂

Ta-da! Cha-cha!

Made this one with the new Bird Friends stamp set from Technique Tuesday. Gave the birds that funky texture by coloring them by dots (mostly) with Copic markers and then setting a little piece of paper towel soaked with Blender solution on top. It was fun to do.

I’d been thinking for awhile about stacking the birds so that’s what I did. I stamped them and then stacked. The main part of each of their little bodies was stamped and colored on a second piece of cardstock. So yeah. I didn’t actually mask. I was TOTALLY lazy. I just cut their little bodies out with my scissors and then plopped ’em onto the card. I think they turned out pretty cute though.

Hi all!

Welp! We made it to day 14 of the 14 (love cards) in 14 days challenge with Ashley. That was fast and fun!

Meet card #14.

I once again whipped out some older stuff from Fancy Pants Designs. All of it from the same collection. All featuring an interesting mixture of soft and sweet designs with super graphic stuff.

Once again, I mostly used stickers and paper… with a couple staples for good measure.

Hi all!

Another day. Another 14 in 14 card.

Meet today’s love-themed card.

Felt good to make this one and use some of the goods on it. They are from a packet of Fancy Pants goodness I’ve had sitting around here for a long time.

The card is pretty much just a bunch of stickers and patterned paper tossed together, plus a couple staples… for good measure. 😉
