Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – 7

Coffee-Lovers-Blog-Hop-10

Hi, guys!

I couldn’t resist squeezing in one more card for the Fall | Winter 2018 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Meet today’s card.

MagicEspressoCupsCard1-teri

This guy may look all clean and simple, but know it took quite awhile to put it together. All that coloring. Correction. All that FUN coloring! Wink!

The little coffee cups (as well as the words and the wand) are from a couple stamp sets from Studio L2E. If you haven’t been to their website, I encourage you to go…. fast… and see all their fun stuff. I am particularly fond of the wizard-inspired stamp sets.

For the card, I stamped the cup three times on cardstock. I colored them in with markers and fussy cut them out with my scissors. Then…. there’s always a then…. I added a few drops of Glossy Accents to the eye glasses! It’s subtle, but the end result is super cool.

The little bear was stamped and die-cut with a stamp set (and matching dies) from Ellen Hutson. His little arms just needed to be holding something… thus, he ended up with his very own wizard-style coffee cup. Forget realism when it comes to my cards. All things are cool when you stamp, right?

The little stars were stamped with a star from a stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps.

Alright, friends. It’s late. I’m tired and I can’t possibly type another word. My ability to form a clear sentence is lacking. If you haven’t checked out the the hop yet, please do. So many amazing cards!

I’l be back again later.

Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – 6

Coffee-Lovers-Blog-Hop-10

Hi, guys!

The cards just keep coming. Yessss! 🙂

I was inspired yet again by the latest Coffee Lovers Blog Hop to make today’s card.

I once again whipped out the Thanks a Latte stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn. It’s such a cute set! creamtomycoffeecard1-teri

I stamped and die-cut the mugs, scarves and heart. I colored them in with markers and then set them aside.

I sponged some blue ink onto a card in a circle. I added the cups and hearts to it, and then stamped the snowflakes, steam and sentiments.

For a finishing touch, I added a few white drops with my white Nuvo Crystal Drops. I sure like it adds to cards…. and yet…. still keeps your cards relatively flat and easily mailable.

Alrighty. This post is short and sweet… and all I have. I’ll be back again later, gators.

Don’t forget to check out the hop. So many wonderful projects have been linked up so far. So…. stinking… many. If you love coffee, cocoa or tea, this hop is worth checking out!

Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – 5

Coffee-Lovers-Blog-Hop-10

Hello again, friends!

I’m still on a coffee/cocoa card kick, thanks to the Fall | Winter Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop. (Thanks, guys, for inspiring me to use the stuff in my crafty stash of goods!)

Today’s card features the Mug Hugs stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps. It’s such a cute set of stamps.

CupofCheerCard1-teir

I simply stamped the cup twice on white cardstock and stamped a snowflake on each cup. I colored them in with markers and then fussy cut them out.

I die-cut the rounded rectangle with a die from My Favorite Things. I sponged some ink onto it and stamped the words, hearts and snowflakes onto it. I added a little color with markers and then popped some holes in the panel with the small circle punch on Crop-a-Dile tool.CupofCheerCard2-teir

I put some patterned paper on the card and added the rectangle. And then…. magic happened again! I squirted some drops of Glossy Accents right over the holes. When it dried, I ended up with a pretty cool look!

Alright. That’s it for today.

Don’t forget to check out the hop (and, maybe, link up some cards of your own). So many fun projects to see!

Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Hop – 3 & 4

Coffee-Lovers-Blog-Hop-10

Hi, guys!

Back again with a couple more cards inspired by the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Maybe a month or so ago, I pulled all my coffee, tea and cocoa stamps from my various stamp bins and put them all together. I’m so thankful for this challenge as it’s given me a reason to use those stamps, which I was kinda surprised to see how many I had amassed over time.

WarmWishesCupChalkCard1-teri

I really wanted to make a chalkboard inspired card so I pulled out the Warm Wishes stamp from Neat & Tangled. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder on a panel die-cut from white cardstock. And then, the magic happened. I slowly applied black ink to the panel with a sponge. It is amazing. The more ink you add, the more chalky it looks. But the white background helps keep it feeling chalkboard’ish.

Once I covered the panel with ink, I buffed the embossed image with a paper towel and spritz on some diluted white paint (with a spray bottle).

I wanted more of a rustic feel for this card so I used a bunch of paper scraps with a more vintage feel.

I liked the card so much that I made a second one. This time, I went with a blue color scheme.

One thing I did a little different was add a few drops of Glossy Accents to the Warm Wishes panel and dump some glass glitter on to them.

I kinda sorta dig the look. Definitely going to do that again before Winter is over on a few cards. 🙂

Alright! That is it for me today.

Don’t forget to check out the hop if you haven’t already. So many awesome projects have been uploaded so far. Great job, guys! The hop runs through the 7th.

Be back again tomorrow.

Fall | Winter Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop – 2

Hi, guys!

I couldn’t help myself. I was inspired by the Fall | Winter Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop make another card to share with you.

Meet today’s card.

HappyWarmWishesMugsCard-teri

Today’s card is on the fun side. I pulled out the Thanks a Latte stamp set (and dies) from Lawn Fawn. Not only are the cups ADORABLE, but there are little face stamps you can stamp on them. I just love giving a cup that extra pop of silly personality.

HappyWarmWishesMugsCard-2teri

The texture background for my card was created with the Cable Knit embossing folder from Sunny Studio Stamps. It felt like it was just a good background to use with these warm Winter drinks.

Alright! That is it for me for now. I hope to make another project or two to share and link up to the hop before it ends.

By the way, don’t forget to swing by the hop post to see all the projects that have been linked up so far. So many fun coffee, tea and cocoa-themed cards.

Technique Tuesday Release Day!

Hi, guys!

Hooray! It’s Release Day at Technique Tuesday. You’ll find all their new stamps and dies right here.

I’ve got 2 projects to share with you today that I made with the brand new 365 Days stamp set from their Memory Keeper Studio collection.

This stamp set was made with scrapbookers in mind, but it’s also pretty great for making cards. I created the background paper for their birthday card by repeatedly stamping one of the phrases in the set (that just seemed birthday friendly) over and over on cardstock.

The little brackets were stamped with a stamp from the set too. There’s a few decorative brackets in the set, btw.365BirthdayCard-teri

And I made this page with the stamp set. (This picture is one provided to me by Bev from TT. It’s her friends’ sweet little pups.)

One of the things I think is pretty great about this stamp set is that you can use it to record your goals and dreams, as well as transitions in your life. It’s also got some nice stamps that are just great for documenting everyday life, like the “Today is a Gift” phrase. 365TodayLayout-teri

Alrighty! That’s what I have for you.

I’ll be back again later. Don’t forget to stop by the Technique Tuesday blog for a completely list of design team members who are blog hopping today.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by.
