25 in 25: Day 19 (11-30)

And we here we again. 🙂

It’s Day 19 in the quest for 25 (holiday cards) in 25 (days).

And this is Day 19’s card.

This card was a real mix and match job.

I used papers from Pebbles’ Walnut Grove Collection, dies from Pink Paislee, a chipboard tag from someone I can’t remember (wink!), a wood tree from Studio Calico and words from the December Daily 2012 by Ali Edwards stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

Always satisfying to mix lots of different stuff together and come up with something that makes me say, “Yeah. I did that.” 🙂

Can’t to see what Ashley made for Day 19. Sooooo close the end, Ash. 😉

Be back tomorrow!

So enough hop chatting. Let’s get on with the project.

Meet today’s card and project for the hop!

The dog, bird, hydrant and a “a little birdie” words are from the new Woofers and Tweeters stamp set. Being a dog owner (there are two in my family – Marley and Rasma), this set had me howling the minute I saw it. So fun!

Today marks Day 18 of the 25 (holiday cards) in 25 (days) challenge I’ve been doing with my friend, Ashley, so I decided to make this  hop card my Day 18 card. To give it the holiday feel, I added some stamps from Paper Smooches’ Chilly Chums, Winter Groves and Christmas Sampler sets. The conversation bubble is from their He Said, She Said set.

That’s all for now.

By the way, interested in the 25 in 25 challenge? Check out Ashley’s take on Day 18. I’m sure it’s going to be pretty dang great!

See you again tomorrow.

25 in 25: Day 17 (11-28)

Hello again!

Day 17 in 25 in 25 is here.

So meet today’s card.

Whipped into my special stash of Lawn Fawn papers for this one. I been hoarding …. errrr… saving….  the Fa-la-la collection for awhile. Such a fun, happy collection.  The jute looking stuff is some of their Natural Cord Lawn Trimmings.

The words are the Snowflake Greetings set from Cas-ual Fridays Stamps.

Ashley’s up the challenge again today. Be sure to check out her blog to see how she tackled Day 17.

Be back again tomorrow!

25 in 25: Day 16 (11-27)

Hello again!

Another day. Another notch in the 25 in 25 Challenge belt.

So here we go. Woohoo!
(Meet today’s card.)

Paired together a couple Technique Tuesday stamp sets: Jingle All the Way by Ali Edwards and Bright Idea (not by Ali… giggle, giggle!).

The papers are from Bazzill, Simple Stories and someone else I can’t remember.

Can’t wait to see Ashley’s take on Day 16. Go, Ash, go! 🙂

Be back tomorrow.

25 in 25: Day 15 (11-26)

So we meet again for the 25 in 25 challenge.

We are on Day 15. Hooray!

So, with that, meet today’s card.

Did a bit of mixing and matching today.

Brought together some patterned papers from  Pink Paislee and Basicgrey, wood trees from Studio Calico, snowflake punches from Fiskars and a banner die from Savvy Stamps.
There’s some glitter paper on there, too. Can’t get enough of the fun stuff.

Can’t wait to see Ashley’s take on day 15. Kinda freaked out a lot when I saw her awesome day 14 card. Sooo rad.

See you again tomorrow.

25 in 25: Day 14 (11-25)

Hello, hello!
Meet today’s card (and No 14 in my quest for 25 cards in 25 days).

Whipped out the November Greenhouse Society stamp set from Technique Tuesday for this one.
Used a stamping trick I first saw Tim Holtz do years ago. Put my tiny own twist on it.

Stamped the image with black ink onto a piece of Cut & Dry foam pad.

Used reinkers to color over the image. Got it allllllllllllll over the pad.

Then stamped with the faux pad onto watercolor paper and tags.

Played quite a bit and did this quite a few times. 🙂

The first few impressions were a bit on the mucky side, compared to ones I did later.

So the mucky ones didn’t go to waste, I stamped right on top of them with black ink…. just like the one on the card. 🙂 Kinda a fun way to “fake” coloring. 😉

And just for kicks, here is what one looks like on a card without the extra stamping with the black ink pad.

Still perfectly fine and OK. 😉 🙂

So that’s all I have.

Don’t miss Ashley’s Day 14 card.
See you again tomorrow.

25 in 25: Day 13 (11-24)

So we meet again.

Today, we’ve crossed the half-way point on the 25 in 25 Challenge. And this is my take on Day 13.

Keeping it on the not-complicated side again today.

The patterned papers are from Echo Park Paper and Bazzill Basics. There’s also some sparkly glitter paper from someone else on there, too. The sticker is from Echo Park Paper, as well.

And the words? They are from the Jingle All the Way by Ali Edwards stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

Everything else is from the old stash-a-roo.

Be sure to hit Ashley’s blog for her take on Day 13.

Be back tomorrow, friends.

25 in 25: Day 12 (11-23)

Hi all!

Another day. Another card. Another take on the 25 in 25 challenge.

Kept it simple this time.
Pulled out an assortment of papers and stickers from Simple Stories and Echo Park Paper and their Christmas collections and just kind went to town. Oh, there’s also a border sticker on there from Teresa Collins.

For good measure, I tossed on some gems and twine. Oh, and I added a few staples, too. (Looking for them? Check out the right lower side of the card.)

That’s what I have for Day 12. Be sure to hit Ashley’s blog to see her take on it.

See you again tomorrow.

25 in 25: Day 11 (11-22)

Hello again!

Meet No. 11 in the 25 in 25 challenge and today’s card.

Gonna keep it real here: It’s not the best crafted card. But, gosh, it was fun to make and the words sure make me giggle. 🙂

The words are a stamp from Hampton Art. Did a little heat embossing with them.

The paper is from Pink Paislee. And the rest of the goods are just little doohickeys from my stash.

That would be all I have for you for now.

Don’t miss Ashley’s take on Day 11.

See you again tomorrow.

Ps… Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends out there!

25 in 25: Day 10 meets Avocado Arts (11-21)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card (and no. 10 in my take in the 25 in 25 challenge with Ashley).

Brought together Avocado Arts’ Sweet Tweet Sweetie and Very Merry Season stamp sets for this one. Been wanting to try that for awhile.

Finished things off with a little bit of twine and gems.

I’m not the only one playing with Avocado Arts stamps today. Head to the blogs of these sweet girls to see what they made with the Very Merry Season set:

Swing by the Avocado Arts blog, too. The Avocado Arts gang always love to hear from good folks, too.

Be back again later.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by. Appreciate each and every one of you.
