Everything you see on here was created with the brand new Spectrum stamp set. It’s a really magical set, if you catch my drift. It’s got a unicorn, rainbow and other fun stuff.

It sorta made me think of my childhood  (Hello, Lisa Frank stickers. Hello, My Little Pony.) So I created two pink unicorns and then stamped a heart (also from set) on one of the unicorns.

Ok, so yeah. That’s what I have got! Be back later, gators! Happy hopping!

Today’s card (1-27)

Hi all!

What’s shaking? Playing along with the Trendy Power Star challenge over on Moxie Fab World. Seemed kinda wrong to not play. 😉 Blog_MFW_KeepLookingUp_teri

It definitely was a challenge, alright! 😉

So I played a little on the artsy side here, but not too much. I used a paintbrush to brush some spray mist onto my card to make the blue background.

After the color dried, I adhered some star shaped sequins to it and drew the white lines. Let’s just pretend for a minute like we are looking at something cool in the sky, k?  My creative process went from making a shape you really would see to just getting those little sequins down. (<——– Yep. Things went downhill quick.)

I created the sentiment with a combination of letter stamps and glittery foam Thickers. I think got super lucky, having stickers that actually match the blue color I used on the card. Yep. I think that’s a win!

So that’s all I have be.

Back later, gators.

Today’s card (1-20)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

2_TT_HelloFriend1_teri

Just a little something I made a bit back and never got around to sharing.

The saying is from the Hello Friend by Ali Edwards stamp set from Technique Tuesday. It’s a new set from their Winter 2014 release.

The rest is just little bits and nibbles from my stash-a-roo.

And one more thing: Who won the Fan-tastic stamp set from Technique Tuesday?

Well, well, that would be Larissa Heskett! Congrats, Larissa! I’ve sent you an email about your prize!

Alright. That’s all I have. I’ll be back later, gators! 🙂

PS… Kerri from Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking said some nice things about me the other day on the Paper Crafts Connection blog. (Kerri, don’t worry the check is in the mail. Ha. Ha. Maybe. Maybe not.) Anyway, she shared a few of my favorite cards I’ve made in recent months over there. If you are interested, you can check them out there.

January Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday

Yep! It’s Studio AE Blog Hop time again! I’m so excited to be hopping with the Studio AE crew again. I always look forward to the 10th.

This month’s stamp set (and hop guest of honor, so to speak) is the All My Heart by Ali Edwards stamp set.

Pretty fun!

I decided to make a card with it for today’s hop. So here you go! 😉

I stamped a bunch of the stamps with red ink on cardstock, cut them out and then just sorta used them as embellishments.

I had a lot of fun just mixing and matching them with other bits and pieces. Outside of the sequins, gems, doily and clip, most everything else (but the stamps) is from Crate Paper.

Be sure to check out the blogs of all the blog hoppers today:

Comment as you because Technique Tuesday is going to give one lucky blog hopper a $25 e-Gift Card to their Web site. The winner will be announced on the Technique Tuesday blog on the 15th.

A winner, some new stuff and some blog candy (1-8)

Hi friends!

Me again! Got a few things to chat about today!

First, who won my mystery box from the Season’s Givings Blog Hop? Well, that would be Kris in Alaska. Congrats, Kris! I’ve sent you an email about your goodies! Big thanks to all of you who stopped by over the last few days. I appreciate all your kind words.

Second, Technique Tuesday has announced a bunch of new products (their Love collection as well as their Winter 2014 release) over the last few weeks. I’ve contributed some designs to their new line-up.

Check out the New for 2014 page on their Web site and you’ll see their new stuff. You can find things I designed in rows 10, 11, 13, as well as 14, 15, 16, 17.

These are a few of my favorite contributions.

This is No Picture.

All of these phrases are sized so they can fit on a journaling card for a pocket-style scrapbook page (like for a Project Life or Life Documented one.)

This is Darn Good Day.

Again, the phrases for this one are sized so they can work with a pocket-style journaling card.

And this is Rah Rah Sentiments.

Yes, I’m a card maker so I definitely wanted to make something card maker’ish for the line-up.

You’ll find more things by me (and Bev, Ali and Lori) on the New for 2014 page on TT’s Web site. If you have any questions (or aren’t sure who made what), just drop me a note! 🙂

By the way, do you want to win one of the new stamp sets I designed? I’ve got a Fan-tastic set to give away.

Leave a comment for me by Jan. 14th on this post. I’ll pick one of you to win it.

Be back again soon!
