Today’s card (11-25)

Hello everyone!

Today’s post will be short and sweet so let’s get on with it.

Meet today’s card. 🙂

The flourishes are from Zva Creative. The paper here is from October Afternoon. And the words are a stamp from one of the Ali Edwards sets from Technique Tuesday.

That’s all for now. Be back tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

Today’s card (11-24)

Hello again!

It’s a two-fer day.

First, meet today’s card.

The base of the card is a transparency from Hambly Screenprints.

The words and hearts are from Ali Edwards’ Loving Words clear stamp set from Technique Tuesday. I colored that white heart in with a pencil. Real hard stuff, ya know. 😉

Second, meet another card.

I made this one using products from Zva Creative. The corduroy brad, felt flower,  word and pearl border are all from them.

Well, that’s all for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by!

And the winner is… (11/24)

I know you’ve been waiting. 😉

Chosen at random, the winner of the magazines, Elle’s Studio stuff and other goodies is:

Miriam Daniels who posted:

I love your “HI” card. It’s nice to see that old items (I have tons of stickers) can still make nice cards! Thanks for the chance to win lots of neat goodies!

Miriam from California

Congrats, Miriam! You left your email address for me so I’ll contact you later today to get your snail mail and get your goodies off to you.

Thanks to everyone who left comments! Be sure to keep watching my blog. I’ve got another assortment of goodies that I plan on giving away later in the week.

And I’ll be back shortly with a new card!

Today’s card (11-21)

Hello!

Meet today’s card.

The lace paper is from Momenta. It’s a pretty yellow with a pearl tint. It didn’t really work with my card so I flipped it over and used the white side.

Other than that, not much to say about it.

The patterned papers are from October Afternoon (green) and Bo Bunny (blue). The sentiment is a sticker from October Afternoon, while the gems are from Zva Creative.

That’s all for now. I’ll be back later. Thanks for stopping by!

Hope you are having  a good weekend!

Today’s card and a giveaway (11-18)

Hello all!

It’s a new day, and I’ve got a new card for you. I have a giveaway, too!

First, meet today’s card.

Hard to tell but there is a sprinkling of glitter on the flower. I also added a line of it on the blue patterned paper.

The patterned papers are from the Winter’s Wings and Home for the Holidays collections by  Webster’s Pages. The letter stickers are oldies but still goodies from  American Crafts. The flower is from Prima and the gems are from Kaisercraft.

And how about a giveway?

Dum. Dum. Dummmmmm.

I’ve got an assortment of goodies for you.

Should you win this package you’ll get the December 2009 issue of Creating Keepsakes, the Holiday Cards & More 2 special issue from Paper Crafts, some Elle’s Studio stuff, SEI letter stickers and a couple other small things.

Leave a comment by 6 p.m. EST on Nov. 22nd (Sunday) if you are interested. I’ll pick a winner after the deadline passes. Because of the bulk of sending this stuff, I’ve got to limit this one to comments from the USA.  Sorry to my International friends.

A word of warning to those who leave comments. Comments sometimes do not appear right away here. It’s a WordPress thing, where I’ll have to approve them. Never fear. I will make them appear.

That is all I have for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card (11-16)

Hello all!

I’ve got one card for you today.

Meet today’s card.

ThankYouLife_CirclesCard_teri

I made this one because I was inspired by Cath’s Plum Crazy challenge on the Moxie Fab World blog.

The houndstooth circles were stamped with a $1 stamp from M’s. The words are from the Ali Edwards’ Loving Words clear stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

The big, sloppy silver circles are my own handiwork. They were made with paint.

Can’t think of anything else to say so that’s all for now. 😉

I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (11-11)

Hello all!

Meet today’s card.

BestWishes_StitchedLeaves_teri

This one came about mostly because I wanted to play around with a Timeless Touches stamp set I’ve been hoarding.  What’s cool about Timeless Touches’ stamp sets is they come with clear stamps and piercing templates so you can poke holes and stitch your stamped image.

Just for kicks, here’s what the sentiment I used looks stamped without stitching.

BestWishes_Leaves1Closeup_teri

Here’s a close up of it after I used the piercing template and stitched on the leaves.

I think it’s a cool concept. I personally haven’t seen anything like them before.

Besides the Timeless Touches products, I used papers from American Crafts on this card. The gems are from Zva Creative and the ribbon is from Papertrey Ink.

That is all I have for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card (11-6)

Hello all!

Things have been super busy for a few days so I thought I’d just share a recent published card.

Meet today’s card.

OwlietheChristmasOwl_teri

This Mr. Owl card of mine appears in the Nov./Dec. issue of Paper Crafts.

I don’t share too many of my published cards online, but this is one of those ones that I like especially. When I send away a card for publication, I usually file it in my mind and forget about it. When I was looking through the magazine and saw him, I thought, “Wow, I can’t believe I made that. I kind of like him.”

The design is all mine. You can get the pattern by clicking here on the Paper Crafts web site. Scroll down to the bottom and woolah. There is it. 😉

That’s all I have for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card (11-1)

Hello all!

I can’t believe it is November already. How this year has flown by!

I’ve got one card for you today. I invite you to take a peek.

HappyLifeBugCard_teri

The butterfly and sentiment are from Papertrey Ink’s Little Lady clear stamp set. It’s one of Papertrey’s early sets, but it’s new to me. 😉 The True Black Gingham ribbon and Vintage Cream cardstock are also from them.

The gems are from Kaisercraft. The patterned paper (hee hee) is some of that Jenni Bowlin paper I am still trying to use each and every bit of.  I love it so.

So besides the card, I want to a minute to alert you a new call for submissions for the May/June 2010 issue from Paper Crafts magazine. Check out this link to see what the editors are looking for. The deadline is Nov. 9th.

Please consider taking a chance and submit a project or two. You never know. It might get published. Even if you have never submitted, it’s worth a shot.

Well, that’s all I have for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by! And a big thanks for all the nice comments left lately.  They always brighten my day.
