Today’s project (1-26)

Happy Monday!

A new week is here with a new project!

Hooray! 😉

stilldeterminedframe_teri

I know it’s a little artsy. This frame is one of the projects I made for Art Declassified’s booth at CHA.

The people are from The Cameo set that I so swooned about a few days back. I’m still swooning. The words are from a single stamp, which is part of their CHA release.

And, just for giggles, here’s a bonus project.

This is an ATC I made for Art Declassified using some of their new stamps.

Be back tomorrow.

Today’s card (1-25)

Today’s card is a stamped one.

cardcutebird_teri

The words and images are from Cornish Heritage Farms. The bird and kite are by the talented Kim Hughes.

The green paper is from Making Memories. The name of the ledger paper’s maker escapes me right now.

See you tomorrow! 🙂

Today’s card (1-24)

Happy Saturday!

Today’s card is a quick and dirty one.

thankswhiteflower_teri

See the word and flower? Yep. They are stamped. 🙂

The images are from one of Technique Tuesday’s new stamp sets from CHA. Yep. It’s another of their card making sets. Hooray.

The patterned paper is some “oldie but still a goodie”  stuff from SEI. The cardstock is from WorldWin Papers.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll have another project tomorrow.

Today’s card (1-23)

Heading out so today’s post (and the next few over the next couple days) will be short and sweet.

This is today’s card.

2thanksstretched_teri

The images are from Technique Tuesday’s new “Thanks for Everything” clear stamp set. It’s part of their  CHA-Winter 2009 release.

A little secret about this card is I stretched the word “thanks”.

What???!!! What you say? 😉

Well, it’s a simple trick that works great with a lot of clear stamps.

I placed the “thanks” stamp on a block. Then, I stretch it out with my fingers by pulling the edges of the stamp. That way, the word looks a little bigger than it would had I just stamped it the normal way.

The groovy thing about this little trick is the stamp totally returned to its normal shape when I took it off the block.

My apologies for no pictures to compare how the stamp looks stretched vs. not stretched. Next time I share a card that uses stretching, I’ll share some.

Well, that’s it for now.

I’ll be back later. But my posts will continue Saturday! 🙂

Today’s cards (1-21)

No DIY-Wednesday here today.

Just cards. 🙂

Meet Card #1.

getwellsooncreamwithcircles_teri

The words, swirl and vine are from a great new set called “Thinking of You” by Technique Tuesday. It’s part of their CHA-Winter 2009 release.

If your LSS is heading to CHA this weekend and you’re a card maker, I encourage you to have them check out the Technique Tuesday booth. I’ve taken a peek of their new catalog supplement and it’s worth checking out.

In full disclosure mode here,  I’m a big TT fan from way back. That said their new release is really exciting to me because it’s packed with sets for card making. So many possiblities.

Meet Card #2.

happilyeveraftercard_teri

This one features some of the new images from Art Declassified. These are part of ADC’s CHA release. The entire collection can be seen by clicking here.

And here’s Card #3.

adc_atcborntoshop_teri

Ok, it’s really not a card. It’s an ATC card. Have you made of those before?  I’ve made about 150 or so in the last month or so.

These Born to Shop stamps are also part of Art Declassified’s new release.

As I eluded to Tuesday, I’m geeked for this new collection of stamps. It’s a fun collection!

Anyway, that’s it for today. I’ll have another project tomorrow.

Oh, and if you have a card to share share today, leave a link here. I’d love to to visit your blog or gallery! It’s always fun to share!

Today’s projects (1-20)

I’ve been dying to share today’s projects with you.

Ok, dying sounds harsh.

But I’ve been totally, stinkin’ anxiously waiting for this moment.

Without any delay, meet Project No. 1!

adchisherscameohangers_teri

Oh yeah, baby. See those cameo images on my little hoop frames? Yes, my friend, those lovely little people. Awwww! (Do you hear my screams of glee?) I love them.  They are part of The Cameo, a new set of cling-foam mounted rubber stamps from Art Declassified. It’s the coolest set.

Oh yeah, and just in case you are wondering about the project. The idea I have is this little hoops would hang over coat hooks for the Mr. and Mrs. Fun, huh?

Meet Project No. 2.

adc_stilldeterminedcard_teri

This one, too, uses new images from Art Declassified. The botanical is from a new set called “Florals”. It, too, I love. 🙂  The sentiment is available seperately. I really like it.

Come back tomorrow. I have many, many, many more projects to share in the coming days.

Today’s card (1-19)

Happy Monday, y’all!

I’ve got something new to share with you today.

Meet today’s card.

youare_blue_teri

It’s a little bit of a preview for you. The images are from new… brand new… stamp sets from Technique Tuesday. 🙂

Just wait ’til you see the two sets these images  in their entirety. Let me just say…  oh la la, my card making friends. Oh la la.  Trendy. Card friendly. And oh.. so nice.

They are part of their new CHA release that debuts in Anaheim on Sunday.  However, if you are lucky, your local craft store might have a shipment of them already on the way to them.

The blue paper is some oldie but still pretty darn good stuff from SEI.

That’s it for today. I’ll be back tomorrow with some more new stuff.

PS… If you are a jewelry maker, go check out my friend Natalie’s blog. She has a great idea for earring storage.

Today’s card (1-18)

Meet today’s card.

butterflies_smile_teri

It’s a “It’s 1 a.m. I have a lot on my mind, and I can’t sleep so I am making a card” kind of card. 🙂

All the papers and stickers are from Making Memories’ Garden Party Scrapbook Project Pad, which is a few years old. Always nice to whip out the older stuff and give it a go around.

The brads are also from MM.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll be back all week long. It’s gonna be a great week!
