Today’s card (3-31)

Hello all!

I’ve got just one card to share with you today.

Go ahead and take a peek. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think this is probably one of my favorite cards I’ve made lately. The colors just put me in a cheery mood. Perhaps I’ve needed it because it has been awfully gray and rainy here lately. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am so ready for sunshine!

The patterned papers here are from Little Yellow Bicycle and Jenni Bowlin. The pearls are all from Zva Creative. And the sentiment is a stamp from Papertrey Ink.

That’s all I have for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (3-28)

Hello all!

Meet today’s card.

Not a whole lot to say about this one. It came together really easy and fast.

The paper, “Always” card and scalloped border are all from GCD Studios’ Homepun Chic collection. The gems are from Queen & Co. The string is from my stash.

I’ll be back tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s cards (3-26)

Hello all!

It’s a two-fer day when it comes to cards.

Meet #1.

And meet #2.

These two cards are the result of a challenge with my friend, Ashley. We decided to challenge each other to use some of the Teresa Collins products to make a card or two.

The patterned papers on these are all from Teresa Collins Designs. The words and the chandelier are stamps. They, too, are from Teresa Collins.

The silver gems are crystals from Zva Creative.

That’s all I have for now.

I’ll be back later. Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (3-25)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

I took a break from white spaceย  and used a lot of stuff for this bad boy. ๐Ÿ˜‰ It was fun!

The letters, frame and paper around it are all from the Fresh Printย  Clothesline collection from Little Yellow Bicycle. Hee hee, let’s just say this collection makes my heart go pitter patter. I have a feeling you will be seeing it a lot more with it from me in the future.

The butterfly and crystals are from Zva Creative. I’ve been holding onto that butterfly for awhile and was so pleased it worked on this card. It felt like it was made to go with the other stuff.

The paper inside the frame is from Jenni Bowlin.

That’s all I have for now. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by!

PS… There’s a new call for submissions at Paper Crafts magazine. The deadline is April 12th. Click here to check out the details. Please note the editors are no longer accepting submissions with photos that have watermarks on them. Good luck to all!

Today’s card (3-24)

Howdy all!

Meet today’s card.

It’s a super quickie. I was trying to come up with a card that looked a little less crafty and little more sleek here. I guess I was going for more ofย  a Target greeting card aisle look. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Something nifty about this card is the horizontal lines toward the middle. They look kinda like a stamp, but they are actually a rub-on from Imaginisce.

The green and tape cassette papers, along with the sentiment stamp and rub-on, are all from Imaginisce’s Live Loud collection. The patterned paper the sentiment is stamped on is from Cosmo Cricket’s The Boyfriend collection. The gem is from my stash.

That is all for now.

I’ll be back later! Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card (3-20)

Howdy all!

Meet today’s card.

Seems I’m on a kick lately to use lots and lots of white space. I can’t help it. I really, really like it. ๐Ÿ™‚

The patterned papers and the flower here are all from the Artsy Urban collection by Melody Ross for GCD Studios. The letters are from DieCuts with a View. The Ric Rac strip is from Doodlebug.

That is all for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for swinging by my spot on the web.

Today’s card (3-18)

Hi all!

I invite you to sit back and take a peek at today’s card.

Go ahead. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This is a color combo Iย  am not sure I’ve ever used before.

I was inspired to use these colors because of a recent call from Paper Crafts to use these colors on a project. I have to say that pairing them together for this card definitely made me step out of my color comfort zone.

The lace paper here is from Little Yellow Bicycle’s Lucky Me collection. The words are a stamp from Papertrey Ink. The rest (gems, ribbon and cardstock) are from my stash.

Not much more to say so that’s all for now. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (3-15)

Hello everyone!

Meet today’s card.

A lot of Technique Tuesday action on this one.

The flower and leaves are from the Spiro Garden clear stamp set. The polka dots are from Passion for Polka, and the words are from Ali Edwards’ Simply You set.

The papers are all from October Afternoon, and the brad is from Zva Creative.

Things are busy here today so that’s all I have for now.

I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (3-12)

Hello all!

I have a couple things to share with you today.

First, meet today’s card.

I invite you to take a peek.

It’s a simple one. ๐Ÿ™‚

The paper, label and blue accent are from GCD Studios’ Artsy Urban and Homespun Chic collections. I doctored up the blue accent with some pearls from Zva Creative.

Second, I want to invite you all to B.L.I.S.S.ย  It’s an event my friends at Technique Tuesday are putting on in June in Portland, Ore. Whether you are a scrapbooker or card maker, it’s a great opportunity to use their stamps. It’s also a great opportunity to really learn some neat tricks for using clear stamps in general. Oh yeah, and you’ll get to meet Ali Edwards, too. ๐Ÿ˜‰ย  Click here for the details.

Let me disclose that I was not paid to say that. It’s no surprise to anyone who has stopped by my blog that I’m a longtime fan of Technique Tuesday’s stamps. They are one of the first companies in the scrapbook world who really got people excited about clear stamps and the possibilities for them. I know they definitely ignited the fire for me.

That’s it for now. I’ll be back over the weekend!

Today’s card (3-10)

Hello out there!

Meet today’s card.

This simple, little card is heading off to a very special gal, who just happens to be celebrating her birthday today. Cough. Cough. Betsy V.

Hee hee! If you have never met Betsy in real life, you are missing out. She is one of the nicest people around.

A big happy, happy birthday to you, Betsy! ๐Ÿ™‚

The papers on the card are all from October Afternoon. The sentiment circle tag is from Ormolu, a fab Etsy shop with some dang neat stuff.ย  And the circle of pearls is from Zva Creative.

Well, that’s all I have for today. I’ll be back tomorrow
