Today’s card (7-30)

Hi! Back again.

Back again with another card to share. A handmade stamped card by Teri // terisplace.wordpress.com

It really was a just for fun card, made the other day when I needed a break from everyday life.

The vacuum and words are from the That Sucks stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps. The die-cut word, heart and vacuum base were all cut with the coordinating dies.

The scalloped borders were cut with from MFT Stamps, while the patterned paper is from Doodlebug. I don’t know what line. Sorry. It was just in my scrap pile. 😉

Alright. That’s all I have in me. I’ll be back again later, gang. Hope to see you again soon.

Created that fun wavy background with the new Wavy Pattern dies. I took the large wavy pattern and used some of the inner pieces in it. And then I took the smaller wavy pattern (that’s the dark pink stuff at the bottom) and added it to the mix. Kinda cool that you can layer it together or use it on its own.

I also used a couple other new products: the Flower Frame dies (to make the flowers) and the Magical Sampler stamp set (to stamp the sentiment).

I thought this might make a nice birthday card, although I may just send it to someone I’m thinking of.

Alright! That’s all I have for you. Be back again later, gators.

Happy blog hopping!

There will be an inlinkz on the challenge post where you can submit your projects.

So anyhoo… here is the inspiration piece for this month’s challenge. On your mark. Get set. Drool… a little. 😉

Ok. Maybe a lot! Wink! I really love the party theme of the photo, as well as the colors, so I was inspired to make a birthday card that followed the same color scheme. Sounds about right…. right? Check it.

Fun, right? No wait. Beary  fun, right? WINK! You guys know how I kid. Yep, yep.

I used a few different Essentials by Ellen products to make this card: The Bear Ware stamp set and dies; the All Inside stamp set and dies and the Wish Big stamp set.

I was fairly subtle in with the color scheme, using it to inspire the coloring of the bear’s accessories. I tell ya that I just love this little bear. The fact he can hold things… oh my gosh, people… the best!

I rounded the card with the patterned paper (hello, Lawn Fawn) and sequins (Pretty Pink Posh).

Alright. That’s all I have for you. Hope you will consider taking part in this month’s challenge. Don’t forget to check out the challenge post!

See you again soon, awesome friends!
