With Gratitude card by Teri | terisplace.wordpress.com

Created this one with a couple new products. Made the background with new Buffalo Plaid stencil. Simply plopped the stencil on orange cardstock and then sponged dark orange on top.

The leaves were cut with the brand new Linked Leaves die. It’s so dang fun. I cut it a couple times from white cardstock. I stacked them on top of each of each other and then used markers to add some color to the inner pieces.

TeriLinkedLeavesDie-2

For a little extra pop, I added some dots and lines with a white pen. I also added some white thread behind the leaves. Always love that look.

Alright. That’s all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by! I’ll see you again.

A handmade card by Teri for Paper Smooches | terisplace.wordpress.com

I had a blast creating the cactus plant for this card with the new Cacti dies. These dies allow you make all kinds of cactus.

I’m not from a cactus-friendly place so be kind to any creative liberties take with this cactus. (Wink!) In card land, everything is possible, right?

TeriCactiDie-2

I created the custom sentiment for the card by pairing together words from two stamp sets – Kindness Sampler and Delightful Greetings. The little heart? It, too, is from Delightful Greetings. It just… appropriate… for this card.

The background for this card was creating by mixing together a bunch of paper scraps from my never-ending bin of scraps. (Can you relate?)

Alright! That’s it for this card.

But got a question for you. Do you have a pile of Paper Smooches stamps and dies? Don’t forget there’s a chance for you share what you are making with them. Paper Smooches offers a fun challenge every month. Watch the blog for details. Kim LOVES and I MEAN LOVES seeing what you are creating!

Thanks so very much for checking out the hop today! I appreciate all your kinds words! See you again soon.

A Super Duper Card…

Hi, everyone!

Me again with another handmade stamped card to share with you. Today’s card is super… well, it features some super duper heroes. Super heroes, that is.

Meet today’s card.

IncredibleSuperheroCard-teri

I just had fun the other day, coloring in these two heroes from the new  Super Duper stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps. In full disclosure: I’ve been on a big super hero kick for awhile so I totally gravitated toward this set!

I stamped the two heroes on cardstock, colored them in with markers and fussy cut them with my scissors. My fussy cutting wasn’t exactly perfect so I used a trick from one of my friends: I took a black marker and ran it along the edges. Easy peasy. And a super nice way to cover up the boo boos. A stamped super hero card by Teri | terisplace.wordpress.com

The clouds are some I stamped and die-cut while working a bit back with the Sunnyville stamp set from Paper Smooches. Always fun when you can mix and match different products together.

Oh, you might be wondering about the background! It’s one I made awhile ago while messing around with watercolors and watercolor paper. I added a couple stamped stars to it when I put it on the card. I used a colored pencil to add a little color to each star as well.

Alright. That’s it for now. I’ll be back later, gators. Thanks, as always, for stopping by.

A friendship card by Teri | created with Paper Smooches stamps

I had so much fun making this card! Rainbows and patterns = lots and lots of love!

Created the background of the card by using a few different stamps from the new Patternology stamp set. It is fun to make one big pattern with one of the stamps, but it is also fun to mix and match the different patterns together.  I also added a heart cut with the heart from the new Health dies.

TeriInvertedGreetingsStampSet-closeI wanted to send this card to one of my friends. I hate really serious cards so I paired together some words from the new Inverted Greetings set and the previously released Delightful Greetings stamp set. I sure dig the label style of the Inverted Greetings words!

Alrighty! That is it for now, friends. I’ll be back again later. Thanks again for stopping by my blog-a-roo! It’s always a pleasure to see your sweet comments. Thank you!

Alright! Enough with the hop talk. Let me share with you the card I made for the hop! On your mark. Get set. And go!

A stamped card for Paper Smooches by Teri | terisplace.wordpress.com

Created this guy with the brand new Vespa die! It’s such a fun die. I die-cut the bike twice from white cardstock. I used markers to color the pieces on the first die-cut, not worrying if I went onto the lines. Then I removed the pieces from the second die-cut and adhere the white “frame” on top. It’s a pretty fun way to use intricate dies! TeriVespaDie-close

The sentiments are all from the previously released Hello Sampler stamp set. I really just took a bunch of words and phrases from the set and paired them together until they looks like a fun phrase for the card.

Sure looking forward to sending this card to a friend!

Thanks again, friends, for stopping by and checking out the hop. It’s always a pleasure when you do stop by!

See you again soon!

2019 Spring | Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – 2

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2019/05/2019-spring-summer-coffee-lovers-blog-hop-2/

Hi, guys!

Sneaking in, under the wire, with just one more card for the Spring | Summer 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

A stamped coffee card by Teri | terisplace.wordpress.com

Just having fun, playing around, with this card. The cups were created with the new Daddy Yo 2 stamp set (and Daddy Yo Icons dies) from Paper Smooches. The stamp set is a guy-themed set, but it’s possible with the elements in it to make girl coffee cup. 🙂

My go-to colors for a “girl” coffee cup are pink and red, but I decided to throw caution to the wind this time and make a purple cup. It’s a color I don’t often color with.

Oh, and just for kicks, I decided to make the girl cup’s glasses seem a little more real by adding a few small drops of Glossy Accents to the lenses.  Just a fun little touch.

CLP_HeyCups2_teri

The words are from the Dude Sampler stamp set, also from Paper Smooches.

Ok! That’s it for me today. Thank you for stopping by. Once again, before to check out the hop. So many amazing projects. Great job, everybody!

A handmade card for Paper Smooches by Teri | terisplace.wordpress.com

Created this bad boy with the new Daddy Yo 2 stamp set ad Daddy Yo 2 Icons dies. (I also used the Fab Frames dies from last months’ release.)

Nothing really super fancy to share about this card other than I did lots and lots of coloring. 🙂

I thought this card might be a good one to give a favorite male family member or a good male friend.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and the hop! I’ll be back again later. Thanks for stopping by!
