Today’s card (4-29)

Hi y’all!

Happy Wednesday.

Meet today’s card.

deerfriendwoodgrain_teri

I made the woodgrain paper with a nifty woodgrain background stamp from All Night Media.

The deer paper is from the Friendly Forest collection by Colorbok. The words are from a Kim Hughes stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms.

That’s it for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by. 🙂

Today’s card (4-27)

It’s a new week and I’ve got a new card to kick it off with.

I admit it’s a little on the plain side, but there’s a good reason. This one is for one of my younger cousins, who is graduating this year.  He’s a clean lines and no junking it up kind of guy. 🙂

The words and diploma images are from a couple Studio G clear stamp sets (series 30, I think). The graph patterned paper is the backside of a piece of Girl Friday two-sided patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket.

Thanks for stopping by today!

 I’ll be back later.

Today’s card (4-23)

Another day. Another card.

Meet mine for today.

happilychillin_teri

It makes me laugh.

And, yes, I admit it. I am addicted to wiggle eyes and happy faces.  🙂 It brings me crazy amounts of joy to turn a unlikely object/critter/whateveryoucallit into something silly, goofy and all that stuff with wiggle eyes and a smile. Hee hee.

The paper is from Cosmo Cricket’s Snorkel line. The wiggle eyes, brad (nose) and floss (happy smile) are from my stash of card making fun.

I’ll be back later. Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a fabulous day!

PS. Happy birthday to my friend, Red! I know you are out there. 😉

Today’s card (4-21)

It’s a two-fer day.

Today’s card (4-20)

It is a new week, and I’ve got  a brand, new card to start it off with.

hiwoodgrain2_teri

This one was inspired by Cath and her Wood You woodgrain challenge on the Moxie Fab blog.

I just love the woodgrain trend she talks about.

Whenever I see something with a woodgrain print, it makes me think of my grandparents. Their thing was wood. They created and sold wooden mirrors, birdhouses and rocking horses at Saturday Market for 25 years.  Each piece they made was completely unique. That’s because they’d use fire to tint the wood and bring out the grain.

Anyway, going back to the card,  the woodgrain paper is from American “I continue to love ya” Crafts.  The circle paper is from Making Memories. The brad is from Bazzill. The letter stickers are also from AC.

That’s all I have for you today. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card (4-19)

Hi everyone!

I’ve got  just one card for you today.

sympathy_fork_teri

This one is headed to a friend who lost her pop last week.

I wanted the card to have a masculine feel since it is because of her dad. It just didn’t seem right to me to send her an all girly-girly flower one.

The images are clear stamps from  Technique Tuesday. The cattails are from their Growing Wild, while the words are from their Thinking of You set. The blue paper is from Melissa Frances.

That’s all I have for today. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Hope you are having  a pleasant Sunday!

Today’s card (4-17)

Today’s card (4-15)

Meet today’s card.

thanksbluegold_teri1

The little stapled areas are my attempt at pleating and gathering with paper. Noticed both a lot lately on trendy shirts and purses so I thought I’d give it a try on a card.

The circles and ledger paper are patterned papers are from Far Flung Craft.  The letters are some oldie but goodies from Making Memories.

That’s all for today. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by!
