Hi, everybody! Tickled pink to be joining my friends over at Waffle Flower in celebrating their newest release! Their new release is packed with a lot fun summery, tropical feeling goodness.

I made three cards to share with you. Each one uses goodies from Waffle Flower’s Tropical Card Kit. This kit is so fun with a cool die set and sentiment stamp set. (There’s also paper, sentiments, embellishments and a couple shaker covers! Oh, and if you are like me like to keep things together, there’s nifty zipper bag too! I’m kinda of a mess when I don’t keep my kit supplies together!)
So let me show you what I made with the Tropical Card Kit! Up first is this little number.
Lots and lots of layers! I wanted to just have fun so I made the shaker with the smaller circle shaker cover and confetti in the kit and then went from there, adding the bird, sentiments and leaves to the top. Underneath, I added a bunch of half circles (cut with the trusty Nesting Circles dies). All the paper used is from the kit too!
Up next is this second card. This one is a little different. I turned the shaker into a card so it opens up.
Not the fanciest card, but it was fun way to use the kit in a different way. Again, all the supplies are from the Tropical Card Kit.
Lastly is this little number.
I went to town when I got the kit and cut soooooo many die-cuts! Like a ton! I had a bunch left over and was like… what can I do with these? So I went freestyle here and just went with the flow, adding a die here, a die there and seeing what I came up with. Sometimes, it’s fun just to go with flow and see what happens.
The embellishments were a nice way to give the card a little extra something…. and make it seem a little more special. Again, they are all from the Tropical Card Kit.
