Hi everyone!
It’s Tuesday again. That means it is time for another sketch challenge at Skipping Stones Design.
Here’s the sketch I came up with for Heather’s team to play with this week.

And here’s what I did with it.

I used Skipping Stones Design’s Birthday Donuts set this time.
There’s no stack of donuts in the set. Just a few solo donuts. 😉 To create that stacked look, I used masking. If you have never masked before, I challenge you to give it a try. It’s a fun and easy way to use your stamps.
Here’s how I did it here:
1. I stamped the donut stamp once on my paper. Then, I stamped it a second time on scratch paper.
2. I cut out the donut stamped on scratch paper and set it on top of my original image.
3. I stamped the donut again, slightly overlapping the scratch paper donut.
4. I removed the scratch paper donut and begun the whole process again. This time though, I set the scratch paper donut on the freshly stamped donut.
I could have kept on going and made one really big donut stack, but I decided to stick with three. 🙂
And for a little extra fun, I stamped one of the set’s donut sentiments inside the card. Here’s which one I used.

Hee hee! 🙂
Go to the blog at Skipping Stones Design today and you’ll get a peek of what the gals on the Skipping Stones Design team came up with by using my sketch as inspiration.
Thanks again to Heather and the team for the invitation to play with them this month.
That’s all for now. I’ll be back again later.
Thank you for stopping by!
