Season’s Givings Blog Hop (1-1)

Hi all!

It’s a nice day to be hopping with friends and giving back a little.

Banding together today with some lovely crafters today for the Season Givings Blog Hop! This blog hop (the brainchild of my pal Latisha) is a little different than most blog hops. That’s because everyone taking part is giving away something.

It’s a fun way to start off 2013!

Ok, so, meet today’s card and my project for the hop-a-roo!

The heart and words are a new stamp set (called Puffy Hearts) from TechniqueTuesday.com. It debuts sometime on 1/1 (like after the crew gets to work! Wink!) as part of their Valentine’s Day release. (Believe me, this is just the start of a lot more stamps from TT. They have A LOT that will debut at the CHA trade show in a couple weeks, too!)

The mustache, wiggle eyes and brad (and washi tape) are from stash of supplies.

Speaking of my stash of supplies, I’ve got a little stash of supplies to give to one of you.

In it is just an assortment of stamps, stickers, twine, embellishments and more. Leave a comment for me by midnight on 1/3, and I’ll pick one of you to win the goods!

Today’s card (12-31)

Hello again!

Meet today’s card.

This one uses another new stamp set from the (to-be-debuted Tuesday) Valentine’s Day release from Technique Tuesday.

The set is called Pucker Up. It has a whole bunch of little Valentine’s decorations and matching words (phone, lips, conversation bubbles, etc.). You can see more peeks of these set from Laura and Ashley , who shared a couple totally cute (like totally) projects they’ve made with it. Nice job, guys!

By the way, the polka dots on my card are from TT’s Passion for Polka set. Definitely one of my Go-to stamp sets. The twine is from The Twinery.

Today’s card (12-30)

Hi all!

Back again with today’s card. 😉

Made this one with a new stamp set from Technique Tuesday. It’s called Dig You and is part of their Valentine release.

Their Valentine release (which also includes two more stamp sets from the person who designed this set and some fabulous new love-themed stamps from Ali Edwards) will debut sometime Tuesday on their Web site. The small release will give you a taste of what is to come (and will be introduced) in a few weeks at CHA. (Yep, lots, lots more stamps to come!)

Everything on this was stamped with the new set. Well, other than those little gems. They were just a fun, last minute “card needs something” add-on. 😉

Pretty much every single thing you see on this card (well, other than the floss and wiggle eye) is from the new Cuteasaurus, which is just plain cute!

I did a whole  lot of stamping and a bit of fussy cutting again. 😉

Today’s cards (12-26)

Hi all!

Just two little cards today to share.

Meet #1.

And meet #2.

Both were made quickly made for another challenge with Technique Tuesday to make a thank you card or two.

Both use the So Very Thankful by Ali Edwards stamp set, which is one of my faves these days.

The second one also uses their Two Steppin’ set. Kinda fun to stamp the flower in the set over and over to make a patterned paper like I did here. Definitely going to need to do that again.

Technique Tuesday: Greenhouse Society (12-25)

Merry Christmas to all of you out there!

I’m taking a break from the family festivities to share a quick card with you so meet today’s card.

The flowers are from the new December Greenhouse Society stamp set from Technique Tuesday. The words are from the So Very Thankful by Ali Edwards stamp set.

I whipped out my colored pencils and used them to color the flowers. The flower is such that it’s pretty forgiving for a non-skilled color’er like myself. 😉

I stamped the flowers on the white circle (it’s just a circle of cardstock) and colored them in. I made sure to wrap the twine around the green and white panels before adhering the circle. Because… believe me… there are times… I remember my plan to do that later… much later.

The little dots cascading down the side are gems.

Today’s (Not-a) Card (12-24)

Hi guys!

Meet today’s (not-a) card. 😉

I have a list of a few friends I wanted to give a special little treat so I whipped these little treat packages together for them.

With CHA preparations looming (and other stuff pending), I had to opt for something high on thought but quick on making time. 😉 (Note: Friends who find one of these in your mailbox, don’t judge.  Hee!)

These were super simple. Each package has chocolate inside it. (Yum.) The envelope is just a little Glassine treat bag. (You can find small quantities of them pretty easily on Etsy.)

I sealed the bags with Washi tape and then wrapped twine  (from the The Twinery) around them.

I finished each one off with a quick little tag of sorts with a sentiment from Technique Tuesday’s Jingle All the Way by Ali Edwards stamp set. The holly is from the Twinkle On set.

Flip the tag over and you’ll see a little message from me. 😉

Each tag is tucked under the twine and then held to it with a clothespin

Avocado Arts: Project Share (12-22)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

I’m playing along again with the gang from Avocado Arts.

This started out as a card with their Smitten for You set, and then it became one with the Smitten for You set +the Grateful Season and Avocado Type sets.

The texture-y stuff is Stickles. I brushed it onto the blue panel and then rubbed my finger through to “try” give it a more realistic look of ice and snow. Heavy on the try there. 😉

Today’s card (12-21)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

Made this one for a challenge with some of the members of the Technique Tuesday’s Creative Team to make something with a pack of red gems.

I stamped a whole bunch of hearts and then liberally added gems to row of hearts.

The hearts are from a couple different Technique Tuesday stamp sets: Always Adore by Ali Edwards and So Very Thankful by Ali Edwards.

The words are from the So Very Thankful set, too.
