To add extra fun to our blog hop…we are offering up a prize!  Just leave a comment on any of the five design team blogs listed below for your chance to win one of the three new May stamp sets!  (you do not need to comment on all blogs to qualify)  You have until midnight MT on Saturday, April 30th to leave a comment.  Please check all five blogs on Sunday, May 1st to see if you are one of the five lucky winners.

Enough talk about the hop. Let’s get on with the project.

I used the new Hang Ups set on this one. Every single thing stamped on this card is from the stamp set.

It’s such an adorable set with all kind of things you can hang (branches, poles and more) and hang stuff on  (birds, bird houses, a squirrel, ornaments and more) or off. 🙂

Besides the stamps, I used some twine and patterned paper from Crate Paper on this card. Everything else is from the old stash-a-roo.

That’s all for now.

Be back later. Thanks for stopping by today.

Today’s card (4-26)

Hello, hello!

How is your day going? 🙂

I’ve got just one card to share with you today.

With that, meet today’s card.

This is  a card I worked up for  a good friend who just celebrated her birthday last week.

I kept it simple inside, stamping “happy birthday” with one of the circles.

The circles are from Papertrey Ink’s Boy Basics: Simple Circles set, while the words are from Paper Smooches’ Pretty Phrases set.

The gem is from my stash.

That’s all for now. Be back later.

Thanks for taking a little time out of your day to stop by.

It’s that time of the month.

Time for a peek  of the new Studio AE stamp set from Technique Tuesday. 😉

Meet today’s peek.

This itty bitty peek has 2 peeks of the new set. The flower is from their Growing Wild set.

I’ll show you the whole thing in May.

A few details about the new set:

* It is called, “Real Life by Ali Edwards.”

* It consists of 16 clear stamps.

* The largest stamp in the set is 1 1/4″ x 2 3/4″.

* The set mixes Ali’s handwriting with typography.

* This set could easily be used for “All About Me” scrapbook pages, as well as pages and mini books about a favorite family member, a couple, your entire family and more.

* It consists of phrases, as well as words that can be mixed together.

The set will be revealed on May 1st on the Technique Tuesday Web site on this page here. It ships to Studio AE Members between the 10th and the 15th.

GCD Studios: Saying Hooray with Funhouse (4-25)

Hi all!

I’m on the GCD Studios blog today so I’m sharing my post here, too.

I’m wanted to have some fun today and play with GCD’s Funhouse collection.

This is such a great collection of paper and embellishments, which I think is perfect for birthday layouts and cards.

But it’s also an awesome collection to whip  out cards for people you want to congratulate on a job well done.

I’ve got two cards today that I did just that with.

I started with this card here.

I cut out the banner from a piece of paper from the Funhouse house collection.

Then, I decorated it up with some stars from the Chipboard Shapes from Funhouse collection. I also topped it of with a little Baker’s twine. I think Baker’s twine just a fun little kick to any project.

I made this second card by following a somewhat similar design scheme.

Again, I cut banners from patterned paper. I again gave them a little kick by adding twine and chipboard embellishments to them.

This time, I used a chipboard elephant rather than flags. And I laid the sentiment right next to it.

That’s all for now. Be back soon.

Today’s card (4-20)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

This is a little something I made with Paper Smooches’ stamps.

The bee and “buzzworthy” is from Giddy Bugs. The cloud is from Spiffy Scooters. And the “you’re” is from a “you’re special” stamp from Sentiment Sampler. I just inked up the “you’re” part of the stamp to combine it with “buzzworthy.”

The papers are from Echo Park Paper and Crate Paper.

That’s all for now. Be back soon.

Thanks for taking a little time out of your day to stop by.

Today’s card (4-17)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

The pearls are all from Zva Creative. Mark my words: If I ever run out of their leafy vines, it will be a sad day in Teri-ville. I like them so.  😉

The papers are from My Mind’s Eye and Crate Paper. The letter stickers are from Sassafras.

That’s all for now.

Be back later.

Thanks for stopping by.

Lawn Fawn peek: Year One

Hi all!

It’s one more day of Lawn Fawn fun here.

Meet today’s card.

Today, we are playing with the Year One set.  The bottom “Happy Birthday” and the cake are from the set.

I went a little bit nutso and piled it on for this card with a few other Lawn Fawn sets: Bannerific Jessie’s ABCs; and Sophie’s Sentiments.

Lawn Fawn peek: Smitty’s ABCs

Alert, alert! If you are looking for my Studio AE Blog Hop post, please look below or click here and it will take you to the post. Thanks!

Hi all!

YAY!
I’m still playing in the Lawn Fawn world!

Today, the Lawn Fawn gang is playing with the all new Smitty’s ABCs set.

So, ta-da, meet today’s card.

The set’s a super cool alphabet set of lower and upper letters and numbers. the style reminds me much of a typewriter. And, it’s probably no surprise to you guys that I have lots of typewriter love (<—–see above. wink. wink.)
So, anyway, back to the card, I paired together some of the alphas to make the sentiment. I was inspired by a print I saw recently that did the same thing with type but with a different phrase. Thought it was a pretty cool idea and had to try it on a card.

The pears are from Lawn Fawn’s My Silly Valentine set.
