Seen Elsewhere Today…

Hi, friends!

Do you like to add texture to your handmade cards? I’m up on the blog today for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, sharing a card that had couple unique ways to add texture to it.  Here’s a peek-a-roo for you.

Can you see my two tricks? Hint: The background with the hearts. And hint, hint: The blue sky.

These were both super fun techniques to do. I’d be tickled if you’d check out the post for the scoop.

Thanks for stopping by. Be back later, gators.

A couple Paper Smooches cards

Hi, guys!

I’m here today with a couple cards recently shared over on the blog for Paper Smooches. I’ve had so much fun lately going though my stash of Paper Smooches stamps and dies and creating a few cards every month. Sometimes, it’s easy to get caught in the “new, new, new” thing and forget about the good stuff you’ve discovered along the way.

Created this first little one with a couple different stamps (and dies):Fruitastic stamps; Fruit Icons dies; Hot Concoctions stamps; Sentiment Sampler stamps; and Kindness Sampler stamps.

I really wanted this card to be unique so I paired together several different sentiments. I think the end result is pretty nice. All words I’d love to say to some of my sweet, sweet friends.

This second card really was the result of me goofing around and pulling two stamp sets (Hot Concoctions and Feathered Friends) randomly and seeing if I could make something with them. After a lot of messing around (and dreaming up some ideas), this is what I ended up with. Fun stuff!

Alright! That’s it for me. I’ll be back later, gators. Thanks for stopping on by.
