A Card and Paper Smooches Winner!

Hi all!

So, yeah, meet today’s card.

This is a favorite card I made with one of July’s Paper Smooches stamp sets: Squeaky Clean.

The sentiment was created with stamps from: Helping Hands andΒ  Good Gab.

And, by the way, there’s a Paper Smooches Blog Hop winner out there. πŸ™‚

That winner would be Krysta (who posted on 2012/07/26 at 6:49 pm). Congrats, Krysta!

You’ve just won Paper Smooches’ new Graffiti stamp set. I’ll send you a note shortly via email (at the email you left with your comment).

See you all again soon.

So enough talk about the hop.
Let’s get on with the card. πŸ™‚

I used the new Graffiti stamp set. It’s a totally cute, Kim-style set of alphabet sets. Fun. Happy stuff.

I stamped the letters here and then gave them just a hint of color. To make them stand out just a little more, I added some shading to the edges with a light gray marker.

Be sure to hit all the other blogs today.

Thanks for swinging by! It’s always a pleasure to hear from you.

Today’s card (7-25)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

I used two Christmas-themed stamp sets: the July Greenhouse Society stamp set and the new Jingle All the Way by Ali Edwards stamp set. Both are from Technique Tuesday.

I colored. Yes, pick your jaw off the floor. With markers, even. πŸ˜‰

And guess what? I totally had a good time, too.
Again, pick that jaw off the floor. Fast.

To give the berries a little extra pop, I put a little bit of Stickles on top.
Surprised by how much I like the result.

By the way, I’m over on Paper Crafts Connection today, talking about trends I noticed at CHA and sharing this guy, which just happens to have been inspired by the trends.

You can see the whole thing over there.

The owl sticker, letter stickers and green and orange papers are from the Haunted Manor collection by Doodlebug. The snapshots were cut from a piece of paper from Dear Lizzy and American Crafts’ 5th & Frolic collection.

Be back later. Thanks for stopping by today.

Today’s card (7-24)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card!

Ta-da! πŸ™‚

The words are from the new Awesome stamp set from Technique Tuesday. It’s one of a bunch of new stamp sets and other products they debuted this week. Several pages worth, in fact. (YAY!)

The papers and chipboard are from BasicGrey. The clip is from Tim Holtz. Everything else is from the old stash-a-roo.

Believe it or not, that’s all I have in me today. So be back later…. gators.

Today’s card (7-22)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

I was totally inspired by Nichol.

I was really, really intrigued by the Tie-Dye technique she shared during Papertrey Ink’s Stamp-a-Faire festivities so I decided to give it a go.

It was pretty fun and a cool way to use markers without coloring anything stamped in. Again, I feel like I am totally marker challenged when it comes to covering stuff in so I covet marker techniques like this. (Thanks for the inspiration, Nichol!)

I used the technique to make the paper I die-cut the butterflies with.

The words are from PTI’s Iconic Images stamp set. The butterfly dies are from PTI, too.

Be back again later.Β  Thanks for taking a little time out of your day to stop by.

Avocado Arts: Project Share (7-22)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

(Dummmm… dummmmm……. dummmmmmm.)

I mixed stamps from a couple Avocado Arts sets together here: Bold Celebrations &Β  Sunshine and Smiles.

It was kinda fun to just give that balloon from Bold Celebrations a different look by using patterned paper and gems with it.Β  I always like it when you can take a stamp and use different stuff with it to get a different look every time.

I’m not the only one playing with Avocado Arts stamps today. Head to the blogs of theseΒ  sweet girls to see their newest projects made with the Bold Celebrations set:

And Avocado Arts, of course. They really do like it when folks tell ’em, “Hi, just because.”

See you again soon.

Have a super day.

Today’s card (7-20)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

Made this guy awhile back, using Lawn Fawn’s Just My Type stamp set.

The background really is a piece of cork.

Hard to tell but to give the pins a little extra “umph”, I threw down a coat of Glossy Accents on top of them

Be back later, gators.

Hope you are having aΒ  happy day!

Technique Tuesday Peeks #4

Hi all!

A few more peeks at Technique Tuesday’s Summer release to share today.

Meet #1.

Made with a new addition to their Signed, Sealed and Delivered collection (and my beloved and excessively used and abused Passion for Polka set)

Meet #2.

Made with a new love-themed set by Ali Edwards. It is one of my most favorite’st new ones by Ali. IΒ  love this heart so much.

And meet #3.

Speaking of Ali, there’s a new product from her and TT. They are called Story Cards and are these cool little cards you can use in pocket pages like Project Life. The designs rock. They are so very Ali. And, if ask me, what make them rock even more is you can flip them over and use the backsides. Oh yeah, and you can stamp on them. Addicting, I tell ya. And yes, that’s a bitty peek of another new Ali set stamped on these ones.

All the new stuff will be revealed by Technique Tuesday on July 23rd. I can’t wait!

Oh yeah, be sure to check out this post from Bev from Technique Tuesday. Sign up for TT’s newsletter and you might win a $50 gift certificate. With the new stuff coming out, it’d be sweet little prize to win.

See you again later, y’all!

Thanks for stopping by.

Here’s a few more. All were made with stamps from Technique Tuesday’s Summer release.

The middle one was made with that Awesome set.

Everything will be revealed and more on July 23rd on Technique Tuesday’s Web site.

See you again later.

Technique Tuesday Peeks pt. 2

Hi guys!

I’ve got another round of sneak peeks of some things made with new stamps from Technique Tuesday’s Summer release.

Meet peek #1.

Meet peek #2.

And meet peek #3.
