Today’s card (7-29)

Hello, hello!

It’s a two-fer day.

Meet card #1. 

The flower is a sticker mounted to paper and then cut out. Other than that, so little to say about this one. 🙂

The papers are from American Crafts’ Moda Bella collection. The letters and the flowers are also from AC. The eyelets are again from my aging stash.

And meet card #2.

I can’t recall if I shared this one before. My apologies I have.

All the images here are from the Whooo Loves You set from Close to My Heart.  The words are from another CTMH stamp set.

Today’s card (7-27)

It’s a new week, and I’ve got a new card to start it off with.

Meet today’s card.

The mushrooms and words are stamps from the Whoooo Loves You set from Close to my Heart. The ledger paper is from Melissa Frances.

I made the circles to match the mushrooms since I didn’t have any cardstock that worked with them. I stamped part of a larger solid mushroom stamp with the corresponding inks and then just used my circle punch.  Probably a “no, duh” to some, but here’s a pic of the process. 🙂

Today’s card (7-26)

Hi!

Meet today’s card.

It was real late at night when I made this card. I have to say that it’s definitely one of those “I made it to third base and I’m OK with it” cards.  🙂

The monster guy is a bit goofy. I cut him out from patterned paper from Daisy Bucket. It’s a little hard to tell, but I applied matching orange flocking to his antennae.

The words are a stamp from Daisy Bucket. They are part of a bigger stamp that has another monster on it. Because of the words, I’m thinking I might include something playful like a balloon inside this card for the friend who will be getting it.

The striped paper is from Anna Griffin.

Today’s card (7-24)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

I dry embossed the vellum here with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. It comes in handy a lot around here. That’s because I dig  the look of dry embossing, but I have little patience for doing it.

The patterned paper is from My Mind’s Eye. The letters are from Heidi Swapp.

Today’s card (7-23)

Hi everyone!

I invite you to sit back and take a look at today’s card.

I totally raided my stash for this one.

The eyelet is from my box of 10,000 that I had to have a long time ago. That 10,000 number is a total overstatement, but it feels like there are that many.

The patterned papers have been sitting in my scrap bin for a good couple months.  Sigh. Why is it so hard itty bitty scraps of paper when you really like the design? 🙂

The sentiment is a stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. The gems are from Zva Creative. The papers are from Jenni Bowlin and Making Memories.

Today’s card (7-21)

Dum. Dum. Dum.

Meet today’s card. 🙂

See those frosty circles? That’s vellum. I punched the circles from it and applied them right onto the patterned paper. I just used some glue to anchor them down. I like the look the vellum gives the patterned paper so I am thinking I might try using it again.

The words are a stamp from Technique Tuesday. The patterned paper is from Far Flung Craft. The gems are from Zva Creative.

I used a whole lot of random letter stickers to make the text background paper. They are all from American Crafts.

The patterned paper is from American Crafts, too. It’s been around for awhile. Ok, maybe it’s been around a longgggg while.  😉 It’s from their Play collection.

Today’s card (7-15)

Howdy y’all!

My card making urges took a break for a few days, but they are back now.

Meet today’s card.

So the color scheme here was inspired by the ribbon. I am usually a “where my mood takes me” kind of girl when I make stuff, but I was digging through my ribbon stash and found it. I thought it had an interesting color combo so I built the card around it.

The words and images are from Technique Tuesday’s Home is Where the Heart is clear stamp set. The purple and blue cardstocks are all from Core’dinations. I am not quite sure who the ribbon is by.
