Dollar Days: The Big Finish (3-30)

Hi y’all!

Today ends my week of dollar stamping adventures.

I have two cards to end the week off with.

Here’s Card #1.

somebunnyeggs_teri

All the images are from Studio G. The words and eggs are from a couple clear stamp  sets. The bunny image is a wood stamp. I stamped it out a couple times on pink and white papers and pieced parts of it together to make the one bunny. I finished it off by adding a little coloring.

Here’s Card #2.

thanksdamasklabel_teri

The Thanks and damask stamps are wood stamps from Studio G.  The paper is leftover from Saturday’s card.

Don’t forget. If you’d like to win my Dollarlicious giveway, leave a post on Friday’s thread. You can get there by clicking here.

Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back later.

Dollar Days: Day 6 (3-28)

Meet my Dollar Days’ card of the moment.

hellochandecard_teri

The chandelier is a dollar wood stamp from Studio G.

Here’s the stamp in it’s full glory.  😉

hellochandestamp_teri

The hello is a clear stamp from Series 16 of the Studio G clear stamps. The artist of the clear stamp is Allison Wong. I’m really drawn to her style.

That’s it for today. I’ll be back tomorrow with the Grand Finale of my Dollar Stamping adventures.

Thanks for stopping by!

Dollar Days: Day 5 and giveaway (3-27)

Yay for Friday!

It’s a big day with two Dollar Days cards and my Dollar-licious giveaway so let’s just cut to the chase. 🙂

Meet Card #1.

dollardaysforyouflowers_teri

I used just part of two Studio G “dollar” wood stamps to the do the stamping here. Here’s the stamps in their full glory.

Meet Card #2.

cupcakesforever_teri

Honestly, this one isn’t my favorite card from my week of dollar stamping adventures.  It’s not really my normal Teri-style, but  it still works and is good for the “When I need a card” pile.

These cupcakes and the words are also from wooden stamps from Studio G.

Finally, I promised a Dollarlicious giveaway today. 🙂

dollardaysstamps_giveaway_teri

Here’s what is up for grabs – a cute set of cupcake and assorted sweets clear stamps, a couple barnyard-themed stamps, an alphabet clear set and one really nifty sentiment set. One person is going to win this assortment.

If you think you’d like them, please leave a comment on this post by 11 p.m. CST on March 31st. I’ll draw someone at random who will get to take them home.

And please do no’t fret if your post doesn’t show up right away. Sometimes here on WordPress, comments have to be approved. I get an email whenever someone posts so I’ll make sure it shows up. 🙂

Anyway, that is all I have got for you today.  I’ll be back tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Dollar Days: Day 4 (3-26)

Hi everyone!

My dollar stamping adventures continue.  Meet today’s installment of Dollar Days.

dollardaystakeiteasycard_teri

I used just  one “dollar” stamp on this one.  To give the flipflops a little extra somethum’ somethin’,   I used a gray marker again to give them some highlights.

The label here was cut and embossed with the Spellbinders Label 4 set from Nestabilities. Oh yeah, and the stamp is from Studio G and illustrated by Kollette Hall. It says it’s from 2006.

Thanks for peeking. I’ll be back tomorrow with a new card and the Dollar-licious giveaway.

Have a pleasant day.

PS….For another card that uses dollar stamps, go visit my friend Ashley. I just spied one from her today. Yay for Ashley and yay dollar stamping! 🙂

Dollar Days: Day 3 (3-25)

Happy Wednesday.

Meet today’s Dollar Days card.

enjoybathdollardays_teri

The bathing legs stamp is from Studio G. It’s by Oogaloo. I think this one came from Jo-Ann’s dollar bins, many moons ago. 🙂

enjoybathdollardaysstamp_teri

The Enjoy is from one of the Studio G’s $1  clear stamp sets.  I only inked up part of the image before stamping it. There is a flower that is actually under the word.

Anyway, that’s it for now. I’ll be back tomorrow with another card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Dollar Days: Day 2 (3-24)

It’s a double Dollar Days kind of day.

Meet card #1.

lifeisgreatdollardays_teri

The papers are from Scenic Route.

The dollar stamps are from Studio G. These ones were illustrated by Kollette Hall. The circle one is a few years old. The flowers are fairly recent.

lifeisgreatdollardaysstamps_teri

To give the stamped images the sketchy look, I just brushed a gray marker over them after the ink dried. I like the effect.

And meet card #2.

happyeasterdollardays_teri1

These images are also from Studio G. They were illustrated by Allison Wong. I just stamped them, added a few highlights with markers and cut out pieces of them to make the card.

Here’s a picture of the stamps before usage. 😉

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll be back tomorrow with another Dollar Days dollar-stamped card.

Dollar Days: Day 1 (3-23)

Happy Monday, everybody!

I decided to do something this week a little different with my cards.

This week is going to be a Dollar Days kind of week. That means, every card I post this week is going to use dollar stamps. It seems like the majority of my crafty pals hoard them. I do the same. So I thought I’d challenge myself to use those stamps this week. Hopefully, if you have a dollar stamp addiction, you’ll be inspired to do the same.

Anyway, meet my Dollar Days’  Card #1.

downonthefarm_teri

The cows, sun and sentiment are all wood-mounted stamps from Studio G. I think the cow is just so cute.

I used markers to do the coloring.  I am totally not a coloring guru, but I’m trying to become a better color girl and have been working on it lately.

Thanks for stopping by.

Stay tuned this week. Besides cards,  I’ll have a dollar-icious giveaway on Friday. 😉 🙂

Have a great day!

Today’s card (3-20)

It’s a two-fer day.

Here’s Card No. 1.

friendmushroomsbird_teri

All images are from Kim Hughes’ Forest Friendzy set for Cornish Heritage Farms. I colored the images in with markers.

This card will be heading out shortly to a friend I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.

And here is Card No. 2.

happilyeverafterbutterfly_teri1

Not overly flashly. Simple and to the point. 🙂

The words and butterfly are rubber stamps from Art Declassified. The paper is from American “I am still addicted to ya” Crafts.

And, just a reminder, to check out the Paper Crafts and Moxie Fabs blogs today. Kelly, Cath and the rest of the PC gang are finishing up their Stamp It! festivities. You just might win something big. 🙂

Anyway, that’s all I have for you today.

I’ll be back later. I appreciate you stopping by!

Happy Friday!

Today’s cards (3-19)

Happy Thursday, everybody!

Meet today’s cards.

whimwishespair_teri

I can’t begin to tell you how fun it was to take make these cards. Just love the images.

Anyway, I made the one with the white beard first. I really dug the look so I made the second one and just changed the colors a bit.

All the images are from Kim Hughes’ Forest Friendzy rubber stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms. It is so blasted cute.  I pretty much wilted when I saw it.

The green stuff is the back side of some baby patterned paper from Making Memories.

Thanks for stopping by today. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Today’s card (3-18)

Meet today’s card.

happybirthday_teri

This card was created in celebration of the latest issue of Stamp It! from Paper Crafts magazine.

So, of course, there’s a whole lotta stamps on here. 🙂 The stars and numbers are from The Unity Stamp Co. The hat and words are from Kim Hughes’ Birthday Bash set from Cornish Heritage Farms.

You can win this card by hitting the Moxie Fab World blog and leaving a comment over the next few days.

Just in case you aren’t familiar with the Moxie Fab World blog, it’s hosted by Cath. She’s the Creative Editor over at Paper Crafts magazine. Cath is an all-around good egg.

She asked me and nine other gals whose cards appear in the new issue of Stamp It! Cards to make a card. We’ve sent them to her and she’s grouped them all together to give them away on the blog as a one-of-a-kind prize package.

The other card contributors to prize package are:

Maren Benedict; Kim Kesti; Julia Stainton; Angie Hagist;  Debbie Olson  ; Dawn McVey;  Melissa Phillips; Natasha Trupp; and Jen del Muro.

What a group of gals.

I’m do think I’m going to be a little envious of whoever wins those cards.  I would love to see these cards in person.  They all look fabulous on the blog.

If you are interested in winning the prize pack, you have until Sunday, March 22 at midnight MST to comment. Again, go here to do that.

Anyway, that’s all I have got for today.

I’ll be back tomorrow. Thanks again for stopping by.
