2019 Spring | Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – 2

Hi, guys!

Sneaking in, under the wire, with just one more card for the Spring | Summer 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Just having fun, playing around, with this card. The cups were created with the new Daddy Yo 2 stamp set (and Daddy Yo Icons dies) from Paper Smooches. The stamp set is a guy-themed set, but it’s possible with the elements in it to make girl coffee cup. 🙂

My go-to colors for a “girl” coffee cup are pink and red, but I decided to throw caution to the wind this time and make a purple cup. It’s a color I don’t often color with.

Oh, and just for kicks, I decided to make the girl cup’s glasses seem a little more real by adding a few small drops of Glossy Accents to the lenses.  Just a fun little touch.

The words are from the Dude Sampler stamp set, also from Paper Smooches.

Spring 2019 | Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – 1

Hi, guys!

Just squeaking in a last minute card in honor of the latest Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I’ve been busy with life stuff so haven’t had much time to craft during the hop this time. Such a bum dog. The hop always inspires me to get to my craft table… and play, play, play! But, at least, I’ve got one card for the hop, even if it is the last day! 😉

Created this little card with the new Tea-riffic stamp set from The Letter Lingo. Such a darling little set. Rather than going all coffee like for this one (because the genius of the set is can be used to make coffee or TEA cards), I decided to make a tea-themed card.

Did a little “old school” masking so the girl would look like she was peeking around the cup.

Totally last minute decision to add the sentiment to the cup. Originally, I’d been planning to stamp it elsewhere but saw it would fit perfectly on it and ran with it.

Created this bad boy with the new Daddy Yo 2 stamp set ad Daddy Yo 2 Icons dies. (I also used the Fab Frames dies from last months’ release.)

Nothing really super fancy to share about this card other than I did lots and lots of coloring. 🙂

I thought this card might be a good one to give a favorite male family member or a good male friend.
