Card Creations Winner!

It’s the moment many of you have been waiting for.

With the help of Random.Org and their winning number generator, I’ve got a winner for my issue of Card Creations 7 from Paper Crafts.
Out of 394 comments, the winner is #80.

And the 80th comment left Friday’s post comes from:

Axes Designs who left a comment at 7:49 a.m. on 6/26. She said:

“Oh! I love the simplicity of your card.. congrats!”

Congrats to Axes! You left your email. I will contact you for you snail mail address!

Thank you to all of you who have stopped by these last few days and have left so many nice comments. I appreciate each and every one of them.

And to those of you who have left your blog addresses, please don’t be surprised if you see me pop on by sometime. I love to see what other cardmakers are doing!

That’s all for now. I’ll be back later today with another card.

Today’s card (6-29)

It’s a new week. And I’ve got a new card to start it off with.

Meet today’s card.

HelloHelloCard_teri

It’s a simple one so I just don’t really have a whole lot to say about it.

The hello, black circle and flowers are all images from Technique Tuesday. The scallops were made with a Scalloped Scallop punch from EK Success. Say that Scalloped Scallop phrase 10 times fast. I dare you. 😉

The Hello Hello is actually just one word. I inked the stanp  up once and then stamped it twice so I could get kind of a two-tone look.

For those of you are just learning to stamp (I know a few of you are out there), here are a couple pictures of the two-tone process. (For those of you experienced stampers, this probably won’t excite you.)

1. Ink up stamp. Stamp once.

HelloHello1

2. Stamp again.

HelloHello2

3. Woolah. The end result. 🙂

HelloHello3

Well, that’s all I have for now. Thanks for stopping by. I’ll be back tomorrow with a new card.

Oh yeah, there’s still time to leave a comment for a chance to win a copy of Card Creations 7 from Paper Crafts. Just leave a comment on Friday’s post and I’ll randomly pick a winner Tuesday.

Today’s card and a big, big giveaway (6-26)

Happy Friday everybody! 🙂

So glad you stopped by today.

Meet today’s card.

TaughtMetoFly_Teri

It comes courtesy of Paper Crafts magazine. The nice peeps over there invited me to be part of their Card Creations Vol. 7 blog tour. That means me and 14 other gals are sharing a project on our blogs today that were made just for the magazine.

This card is one I made. It appears in the Mother’s Day section.

It’s a little different than the same old card.  You know how most cards consist of single sheet of cardstock that is folded in half?   I tried something else for this one. I used two single panels of cardstock and bound them together with a binder clip. Not exactly revoluntary, but different no less. 😉

The magazine doesn’t show it so here is a peek of the card’s inside. 😉

MomFlyCardInside_teri

The inside sentiment says:  Because of that, life couldn’t be better. Thank you.

Ok, so, I’ve shared the card. Let’s talk about the good stuff – the giveaways.

I’ve got a copy of Card Creations Vol. 7 for one of you.

All you have to do is leave a comment here. I’ll randomly pick a winner on Tuesday. Please know that your comment might not appear right away. Sometimes I have to approve them. It’s a WordPress thing so never fear. I get a notice everytime someone comments and I will be sure to approve as soon as I see it! It will show up after I do that. I promise.

And be sure to stop by the blogs of the 14 other tour participants because they each have a copy of the magazine to give away, too! Hooray!

Just click on their names here, and you’ll be taken right to their blogs. (Pssst… Go. Do it. You know you want to. )

And there’s more. You are also going to want to go to the Paper Crafts and Moxie Fabs blogs. Let Cath, Kelly and the rest of the Paper Crafts gang know which card you liked best from the tour.

They’ve put together 10 prize packs.  Five prize packs will go to people who leave comments on  the Paper Crafts and Moxie Fab blogs about their favorite cards. The remaining five prize packs will go to some lucky guys and gals who leave comments on this blog as well as my 14 tour friends’ blogs. The PC bunch has some secret method for picking those winners.

Whew. That was kind of a mouthful!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by today! I wish you the best of luck!

I’ll be back over the weekend with a new card.

Today’s card (6-25)

Dumm… dummmm… dummmmmm.

Meet today’s card. 🙂

Yo_DollarCard_teri

This card came to be after I found a cool pack of circle cards in the dollar bins at M’s the other day. Having a long love affair with all things circle-y and polka dot-y, I declared they had to be mine.

Yo_DollarCardPacket_t

Rather than sending them out as they came, I decided to doctor them up first. I am pretty sure you’ll see the others on here eventually. 😉

The papers on today’s card are from Carolyn Gavin’s Greenhouse collection for K & Co. The letters are from American Crafts. The ribbons are from my stash.

That’s all I have for you today. I’ll be back tomorrow. Be sure to come back. A giveaway and a bigger giveaway are all tied to tomorrow’s post.

Thanks for swinging by.

Today’s card (6-24)

Meet today’s card.

AFriendOrangeGreen_teri

I’ve been on a kick to send a card “almost” daily to a favorite friend who is recovering from surgery and is somewhat immobile right now. This one will be leaving soon.

The words are a stamp from A Muse.

The glittery dies are from Carolyn Gavin’s collection for K & Co. The paper is from Imaginisce.

Oh, and that brad? It’s an oldie but goodie from Karen Foster.

That’s all I have for now.

Thanks for taking a peek. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Ps. I forgot to mention this yesterday. Just in case you haven’t, check out the Paper Crafts and Moxie Fab blogs this week. The gang over at Paper Crafts is having a big celebration in honor of the new Card Creations 7 special issue.  Prizes every day and more! Oh yeah, and you’ll get a few peeks of the new issue.

Today’s card (6-23)

A new day. A new card.

I invite you to take a peek. 🙂

HiFunkyScallopsCard_teri

The scallops are a bit on the funky side. Just used a circle punch to cut half circles from patterned paper and pieced them together. It’s a great way to use up some of those scraps you aren’t quite ready to part with.

The patterned papers I used were all leftover from a couple recent projects. They come from Imaginisce and K & Co.

The letter stickers are from American Crafts.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by. I appreciate your friendly comments!

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. (Promise)

Today’s card (6-19)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

2HelloFriendFlowerCard_teri

You might see this color combo together again real soon here on the old T’ster’s blog. Fair warning because I am becoming really fond of pairing pink, green and blue together. 😉

The flower and word stamps are all from Technique Tuesday and their Baroque ‘n Blossoms & Long Stemmed clear sets. The patterned papers are from Cosmo Cricket and My Mind’s Eye. The vellum and cardstock are from WorldWin.

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now.

Thanks for stopping by today. I’ll be back later.

May your day be good! 😉

Today’s card (6-10)

I guess I should have said cards rather than card because I’ve got two for you today. 🙂

Meet No. 1.

TotallyAwesomeU1_teri

Meet No. 2.

ThankYouLeavesVellumLetters_teri

I made these while I still had the supplies out for the last card I posted. The letter stickers are from the same sheet of American Crafts stickers on that last card.

The patterned papers are from American Crafts and SEI. The vellum is from WorldWin. The brads are from Making Memories. I am not sure who made the Thank You clip. An office supply loving friend sent it to me a long, long, long  time back.

That’s all I have for now. I’ll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (6-7)

Hi friends!

Meet today’s card.

HelloBestFriendCard_teri

See that alphabet panel? It’s leftover from a used up sheet of  letter stickers.

The patterned papers are from SEI and American Crafts.  The sticker backing is from American Crafts. The vellum is from WorldWin. “Hello”  is a stamp from Technique Tuesday. And the “best friend” words are a rub-on from Melissa Frances.

That’s all for now. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card and a bit of blopping (6-6)

Let’s just get straight to it today.

Meet today’s card. 🙂

FeltedHi_teri

The felt stuff that makes the frame are all things I hoarded away for some time. You know, stuff that is safely tucked away for that special project. Hee hee hee. 😉 They are from American Crafts.

And the letters inside the frame? They are from DieCuts with a View.

Today’s card comes because of my crafty pals with the Outta This Funk community. About a dozen lovely gals have put together projects to share today as part of a blog hop. To those of you who came because of the blog hop, welcome! And to those of you who weren’t aware of it, I invite you to join in the tour.

Next on the tour is the super fab, totally talented Robyn.  Click here and you’ll  be taken to her blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
