I made this bad boy with the new Lights die, as well as the new Noteworthy stamp set.

Handmade card by Teri // terisplace.wordpress.com

To create the little ledge to place the light on, I plopped a couple sticky notes on the white card panel and sponged on some blue ink.

The sentiment was created with two stamps from the Noteworthy stamp set.  Easy peasy.

Alright! That’s what I have for you today. Thanks for stopping by, guys! Always enjoy reading your comments!

  1. I love everything about this card. The inked desk top, the cute little desk lamp and the fonts of the stamps. Beautifully done!

  2. Like the crispness of the black & white w/ pop of color. This reminds me of the wonderful Pixar lamp. I recently enjoyed the movie Finding Dory. Have a Bee-utiful day!

  5. Great card! I especially like your sponged up edge. I will have to remember to try that out sometime! 🙂

  6. Oh my goodness what a cute card! I was recently asked to make a card for a staff member of my DIL’s who is leaving to teach school. I didn’t have much to work with (for the occasion) but I managed. This would have been perfect!
    What a great card!

  7. Aww, I got sad for a second there, thinking of the feeling behind the sentiment, then remembered it’s just a card at this point, lol! Iove LOVE love the clean style!!

  8. Very cool die! I love it paired with those sentiments. The blue ledge is the perfect touch.

  9. First thing I thought of was the Pixar lamp image. I really like the simplicity of this card. The soft blue at the bottom is perfect.

  10. Making a card to commemorate someone leaving their job is a tough challenge but you did it beautifully here! The lone lamp sets just the right tone. (And it reminds of something I’ve seen in a Pixar movie, but I can’t quite place it. I’ll have to ask my son. LOL)
Anyway, thanks for this lovely addition to the Hop! Paper Smooches has been honored with your design!

  11. What a great card Teri! I love your design and your color choices. You always do such great work. Thanks for sharing.

  12. FUN CAS card Teri, such a SWEET farewell!!!
    LOVE the design and inking!!!
THANK YOU for sharing your CREATIVE INSPIRATION 🙂

  13. Sweet card. I like how you did the ledge to give the light a place to sit. The Lights die is on my wish list.
