Today’s card (4-9)

Hello again!

Just a “for the fun of all things fun” card to share today! 😉

This is today’s card.

I used Lori’s faux watercolor technique to give the hexagons color. I stamped them with Distress Inks and then sloppily spread the color with a wet paintbrush. The beauty of watercolor is that it’s totally forgiving whether you are sloppy or not. In other words, it’s my kind of technique! 😉 (Remember: I stink at coloring. Wink.)

The lines just good old embroidery floss.

blog_swm_thinkingofyou2_teriBy the way, the stamps I used are A Creative Journey with Melissa. The hexagon is from Melissa’s Design Elements set, while the words are from her Outside and In – Sentiments set.

So that’s what I have for you today. Be back again later, gators.

Have an awesome day!

PS. Time’s running out to take part in the Styling with Stencils Challenge over on Moxie Fab World. Go here for all the deets. You have until Friday to work up an entry. A whopping 153 projects have already been entered. Good heavens! That’s a lot of stencil action.

Today’s card (7-19)

Hi all!

Another day. Another card! 🙂

2_Blog_CirclesHello2_teri_edited-1Had a crazy idea for this one and just sorta ran with it!

I created the circle borders on my computer and cut them out with an electronic die-cutting machine, and then stamped right on top of them with stamps from my With Flair stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

2_Blog_CirclesHello3_teri_edited-1To give the card a little extra kick, I stamped the hello circle (also from With Flair) on a 1″ punched out circle and adhered it on the border with a little foam tape!

Sorta fun!

That’s all I have! Be back again later!

Hope you are off to a good weekend!
