MFT New Product Launch

Woo to the hoo! The big day is here!

New Product Launch

The November release from My Favorite Things is now available. And, hooray! Got a few cards to share with you. Check it.  (<— Yeah, I sounded all fancy like.)

Meet Card #1.

Happier for You by Teri

All three of my cards today use the new Stitched Cover-Up Companion Horizontal Die-namics. And all three are on the clean and graphic side.

For this one, I simply cut the Cover-Up from cardstock and two sheets of patterned paper and then pieced the parts together.

Happier for You by Teri

I played it straight stamping the sentiment from the Totally Happy stamp set in the center and then creating some flow with the stars, button and sequins. Sometimes, I want to go hogwild and embellish the heck out of things. And other times, I just want to make a card that’s quick to the point, and this one is pretty much that.

And meet Card #2.

Clean + Graphic Warm Wishes by Teri

This one is clean and graphic again. I really wanted to make something that could be recreated quickly to make a bunch of Christmas cards

I stamped the diagonal background with the Bold Diagonal Stripes Background stamp, and then I added a couple strips of cardstock to give it a little something. I ran it through my die-cutting machine so I’d get the two stitched rectangles. And then I ran the Cover-Up through my die-cutting machine again with Sweet Tooth cardstock to make the frame.

After stamping the sentiment, I felt like the card just needed something so I added the circle with the star. It’s simple but I think it helps tie everything together.

And meet card #3.

Hello Stripes by Teri

For this one, I cut the Cover-Up three times – twice with patterned paper and once with cardstock. I used just the rectangles from the piece of cardstock.

But I got fancy with them! I took the Stitched Scallop Edges Die-namics and cut them with it to make the little borders. The process looked a bit like this.

Hello Stripes step by Teri

I think they look pretty good on the card.

So that’s all for now.
