2020 Spring & Summer Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop | Card No. 2

Hi, guys!

I’m back with another card inspired by the latest Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop.

So many great ideas have been shared so far. Today’s card is just an idea I got in my head and decided to run with it. So let’s get to it. Meet today’s card.

Flying robots with coffee cups! It could happen… wink, wink! 🙂 I found myself giggling as I made this card. I initially planned to make a cute little love scene with a cup of coffee and the two robots and then my mind kinda just took off. (Don’t ask. Just don’t ask.) And my scene evolved into flying robots.

The sentiment, which is from an old My Favorite Things set, just seemed fitting. The swirly doohickey majicky is from MFT Stamps, to, as is the coffee cup.

The robots and hearts are from Lawn Fawn’s Charge Me Up set. Not sure why but robots stamps almost always end up in my crafty arsenal. I always enjoy making cards with them.

I created the background with Lawn Fawn’s Cloudy stencil. Oh and I wanted to mention this. I use a lot of small embellishments. Liquid glue is pretty trendy these days for adhering them, but if you aren’t a liquid glue fan when it comes to embellishment, I highly recommend checking out the Micro Adhesive Dots from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. They are really small and work well for sequins.
