Hi everyone!
Welcome! I am thrilled as can be to be joining the gang from Hero Arts today for their 2011 Hero Arts Catalog Blog Hop.You should have arrived from the blog of Kristina Werner.
And yeah. I know. Thud! 😉 Me joining up with Hero Arts for their blog hop. The Hero Arts. I.Stinking. Know! But I digress. 😉
Going back to all things stampy. I’ve got a couple cards to share with you that I made with some of the new Hero Arts stamps.
So, with that, meet card No. 1.
Here I used one of the telephones and sentiments from the new clear Just Saying Hi (CL502) stamp set.
I just love this telephone! It’s got good character.
To play on the telephone theme, I used a page from the phone book for the background paper.
And meet card No. 2.
This one uses two more new clear stamp sets: Friendly Flags (CL475) and Sending Smiles Messages (CL490).
The flags set consists of all kind of cool triangles, which would be great for for making for making banners. I’ve gone a bit of crazy lately with banners so I instead stamped a bunch of the triangles on patterned paper and turned them into the funky circle for this card.
Besides banners and funky circles, I think the triangles would also be a lot of fun to make a star with.
For the sentiment on this one, I stamped it once with a light gray ink. Then I stamped it again with black ink. I thought it gave it a neat shadow look.
That’s all for me for this hop. A big thanks to the gang from Hero Arts for inviting me to take part today.
The next stop on the hop is the blog of my good friend, Lisa Spangler. Take it away, Lisa!
(You are going to be wow’d. 🙂 Trust me! )
And just in case you do happen to get lost on the hop or you find a broken link along the way, here’s a link to the master list of all of today’s blog hoppers.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have lots of fun!
Be back soon!
Be back soon.
